Dream maker versus Post card rate??

I recieved a post card with a rate of $49.00 a nite for Value resorts.

We have our dream maker 7 for the price of 5 nites already booked.

After comparing this is what I have come up with:

Dream maker: 7 nites with 8 days in parks. $1,182.00

Post card rate: 7 nites with 6 day hopper plus: $921.00

Even with 10 nites and 6 day hopper plus its only $1,150.00

Is the dream maker package worth the extras you get?

How hard is it to change things??

I think my math is correct...never was one of my best subjects..LOL

Are you planning on going to the water parks, Pleasure Island or Disney Quest? Each of those are seperate admissions that are included in the Ultimate Park hopper. Since we tend to go to the water parcks multiple times, and do PI and DQ it is worth it for my family.

I think the main questions would be if you plan on being at the parks/water parks for every day of the 8 days that you are there, or if you plan to take a day or 2 off and how do your travel plans work out? If you are getting in late on arrival day and/or leaving early on departure day or you want to take days off from the parks, then I would go with the Postcard. If not, go with the package.

We have no desire to do the water parks....we prefer to resort hop and do fort wilderness activities.

With the money saved we could do character breakfasts, Halloween party or a tour...which is what we like to do anyway.

So it sounds like the package includes things we aren't interested in??

Do you have to call directly to Disney for the postcard or can I go through the agent taking care of my package. It is thru Small World vacations?
We have made a $200 deposit also....

If you aren't interested in the water parks I would go with the other deal. Keep in mind that the Park Hopper Plus includes plus features that gives you admission to water parks and such. If you don't want that there are just park hopper passes that are cheaper.

As long as you are within the time frame to change without a charge I'd change.
