Let me first start out by saying a few of the posts I read in the forum were a bit misleading. I went to PC with the idea that the Dream was new and the staff was green and we were going to have to just grin and bear it. WRONG.

First ... PC I think the boarding process was very smooth. we arrived at the port driving up from West Palm at 10:30 to find people still leaving from the debarkation and 2 lines forming around the fences for those waiting to get in. it was a bit confusing but the lines moved very fast. once through security and up the escalator the check in process moved very quickly. We wound up with boarding number 5 and even when they opened the doors it went very smoothly.
Upon getting on the ship we had a quick look around and moved straight down to the Enchanted Garden for Lunch.

We had 6 people and were given a nice table with an awesome server I think his name was lugo or lupo from france I wished he was our sever he was fantastic with the kids. although it was his first contract with Disney he sure knew what he was doing. we really enjoyed having lunch there and it did not get very crowded right away I am sure a lot of people went to cabanas and straight up to the top. We had the early show followed by dinner which I was able to change to the 6pm dinner is good for the kids I would have preferred to see the show at 7 or 9. After lunch we made our way up to our cabins we were in 6584 family ocean with veranda and 6562 Deluxe Ocean with veranda. I have a video of the deluxe family because we were only 4 and had no murphy bed which was great we had extra room and a chair ( we booked this again on the 9th floor for the fantasy in April 12) The rooms were great we had the round tub in the family room which was INCREDIBLE the Rain shower head is fantastic and the other room had the standard tub. As in pictures the bed height can accommodate all the luggage under it. We met our room stewardess Marissa who was incredible she really took care of us and she was able to find our luggage very fast.
Our Dining rotation was AER and Animators was FANTASTIC, and different. I really liked it we had table 68 which was right against the wall with a screen that changed all the time Crush came and talked to our blonde seaweed head first and then our other daughter.

We sat with a mother and daughter from Cali and the girls really hit it off ( they also booked the fantasy in april I hope they can make it) Our servers were Salme ( sa-la-mae) and Jose they were both pretty new I think but were fantastic dinner the first night was a bit slow but manageable but the rest was perfect they were great ( I hate the short cruises by the way)

Nassau:
what can I say I hate nassau the kids did not want to leave the boat so they went to the kids club my oldest wanted to see Gnomeo and Juliet so I told her I would come check them out in time for the movie. We did a quick trip through town and then thru the straw market and headed back to the boat. I heard that a lot of people have been complaining about Nassau it may be just as bad or worse than St Thomas in my mind. I was suppose to Dive Stuarts Cove but was too congested to make the trip so we cancelled our Dive. The kids made it to the move and I headed up to the Rainforest for a steam to clear the sinus ..... What can I say about this .. AWSOME the steam rooms were fantastic. My wife my father and I were alone. we used the jacuzzis and the steam rooms and the heated chairs and relaxed for quite a while before joining my mother out at the adult pool. My kids by this time were ending the movie and going off to do the detective agency and the kids clubs again. Dinner was the Enchanted Garden ... it was not my favorite but we had a good time.
Pirates night was interesting the kids dressed up and had pictures taken and all of that stuff at this point we still had not made it to the Aquaduck and my oldest asked if we could go after dinner. She and I ran back before the party started and it was empty we went 5 or 6 times in a row in the dark it was great she had a blast. My youngest wanted to go the next day after Castaway. So she went to the kids club and the oldest asked me to go up to the pirate party it was a lot of fun. A side note the buffet in Cabanas after the party had great make your own Crepes banana strawberry and chocolate and caramel.

Castaway:

I really wanted a cabana and did not go to guest services to get one so they were all booked I believe they were $399 for the day. We did not feel we had to rush this day. We had the 11am stingray adventure, so we got off after meeting for breakfast and taking our time. there seemed to be plenty of chairs and umbrellas my biggest issue and I will post this is that people camped out on the hammocks they put their coolers and towels and clothes all over them so no one else could use them. I had some kind words for them but was told to hold my tongue. The Stingray adventure was great

we all had a great time the kids love this kind of stuff and being that the wife and I dive we really try to expose them to these kind of adventures. after lunch we went on Pelican Plunge and did a bit of snorkeling but headed back to the boat ealry to hit the Aquaduck.

I was surprised how many people stayed on the boat at Castaway it was very crowded but the line for the aquaduck was very small but grew after a while, we did get in a lot of runs though. We took the kids to Royal Palace for dinner that night BUT we had Palo ressies so I just had a quick appetizer to tie me over till dinner. I cant say much about Royal Palace except I wish I had eaten there instead of enchanted garden the menu was better for me. More on Palo to come. So we are sitting at dinner in RP and the oldest says I really want to see Tron tonight can we go. Well our Palo ressie is at 7 which I was able to change from 8:30 with ease and the movie starts at 8:30 so I tell her I will get her from the kids club and drop her off if our dinner is not over.

Palo: Ok I love this restaurant. The food is fantastic the staff is even better. I will start by saying I really wanted Remy but could not get a ressie online but I did not even try onboard. I did look at the menu and it did not trouble me that I did not try. I did hear that a few people have complained about Remy and after hearing that I was ok with it all. Now our dinner was fantastic the food was great the wine was also great. Our server whose name slips me was incredible she was from Germany if that helps ... as dinner moved along I noticed the time and told her that I had to go get my daughter to the movies so she was able to bring the main course out a bit quicker and said she would order the souffle now so we could eat and run. I had the liver which was superb as well as my father .. I had to go so I told everyone to enjoy the dinner and I would see them later and I did not get my souffle. On the way out the Manager came up to me and said come back after the movie I will make a souffle for you. So at 10:30 I met the wife and parents back up at Palo and they brought us outside to a little deck next to the bar and served us our souffles and coffee meal complete ... experience an 11+.
Debarkation was quick and smooth ... enough said about that trip is over and we are said but looking forward to the FANTASY!
