If money was no object what would be your Disney dream vacation? Would you keep it simple or would you want to do all of the behind the scene tours?

I would love to stay at either the Polynesian or AKL for a week with my entire family (parents/siblings and their kids - about 13 of us). It would be fun to have all of our rooms side by side. As for the tours I would probably want to the Wild Africa trek and the Keys to the Kingdom tour.

My "dream" vacation is still off site...just have zero desire to stay on property. I'd want a luxury townhouse rental, and an awesome conversion van to drive down to WDW from GA. I'm interested in some of the experiences/tours, probably the same two OP mentioned. I'd want to eat in a few of the restaurants on property, mostly because the kids are interested....CRT, BoG come to mind. Beyond that, I'd still prefer to bring my own food in. Add in unlimited FP+ of my choosing and I'm a happy camper.

For starters, my dream vacation does NOT involve extended family. Just the 4 of us is perfect. Extend beyond that and you run into different agendas and it stops becoming our dream vacation.

The resort we stay at is dependent on the season. Like the OP, the Poly is probably the ultimate dream resort (one of the DVC bungalows that extend out into the lake). That said, I think the Crescent Lake resorts (Beach Club, Yacht Club, Boardwalk) would be more desirable during Food & Wine and Christmas because of their proximity to Epcot and all it has to offer.

The vacation would also be for a minimum of 3 weeks, maybe 4. Set it up where there is a rest day for every park day. Time it so we can do both the Halloween Party & the Christmas Party, and do each of those hard ticket events.

And, as much as I dislike the concept, it would also include a DAH night at Magic Kingdom, just to see what it is liked.

I'm not sure about any of the tours. I like the Magic of Disney without knowing all of the mysteries.

Hoop De Doo, Mickey's Campfire, etc. would also be on the list.

Mu dream vacation would be 3 weeks in a Grand Floridian Villa that had a view of the monorail ( I know most people would say if you can see the castle from you're room why watch the monorail.), deluxe dining plan ( for ease and convenience ) with Lunch with an Imagineer for lunch one day and at least 1 tour. Maybe during one of the fest like F & W or International Art.

2 weeks, Poly or Grand Floridian with all three kids and their spouses or so and kids.

Deluxe dining. All the character meals or most of them.

Between thanksgiving and Christmas so we could enjoy cool temps and Christmas events.

I  this thread!

My dream vacation would be a 2 week split stay with all my family and a couple of our close friends the week after Thanksgiving. The first week would be 3 2BR Boulder Creek Villas, and the 2nd week would be in 3 Poly Grand Villas(the ones on the water).
We would have deluxe dining for all of us, and I'd try every single restaurant I've never had the time to try and all the ones that are my favorites. I'd send my daughter on Keys to the Kingdom(they've always wanted to do that) and I'd do some of the dessert parties.

I'd take a few months with my daughter and head off around the world! We'd start in Paris, with a week of the surrounding areas and a couple days at DLP, then start heading east. We'd do the same everywhere there is a park. Anywhere from a few days to 2 weeks to explore the city/region/country & all it has to offer, with a few days of parks as well. We'd go DLP->HK->ShD->TD->DL->WDW. I'd want to end in WDW since it's the one that's home for us. I probably wouldn't bother with tours, just soaking up whatever we can wherever we can <3

Well our next vacation is not until 2021 but it comes close to what I would call a dream vacation. Twelve days total (10 park days), the girls want the deluxe meal plan again and they want to stay at the Poly. And for the first time I do not have to bring 3 to 4 of my daughters maternal family with us. Just her half sister (god daughter) and probably her mother and for staying at the Poly the girls have agreed to fly. No more 26 hour drives. Heaven on earth. They want the deluxe plan so they can eat at California Grill, Le Cellier, and Narcoossee's but they also want Ohana dinner twice and the Stitch breakfast so I get to enjoy to.
