Dream Bars - where can you get alcoholic drinks that are not in adult only areas

We cruised the Dream once with our 2 year old son. We were very busy keeping an eye on him and seemed to have a hard time finding places to get alcoholic drinks that were not in the adults only area. Where is alcohol sold that is not in an adults only area.

We actually had a pretty bad service team at dinner and most nights have a very difficult time getting drinks and mostly could only get one drink that came towards the end of our meal. I know this experience is supposedly not typical but it was ours nonetheless.

There are multiple places:

Promenade Lounge (classic ships, deck 3) or Vista Cafe (Dream/Fantasy, deck 4)
Preludes near the Walt Disney theater on all ships
All ships have a place that sells drinks in the family pool area
Bon Voyage -atrium bar on the Dream and Fantasy

There also used to be roving bar servers on the pool deck.

Also remember that you can go through the lounge areas during the day with kids if you want a draft beer or something like that. The only place that is adults only 24 hours a day is the adult pool area.

Many of them, yes. I think they become adults only around 9pm. The Navigator app should note the hours and age restrictions.

Yep. Most of the adult lounge areas are open to all ages until 9pm. But it may not be the most exciting locale for a 2yo.

I would say depending on the age and listening of the kid you could get them a slice of pizza, sit them at the tables, and order at the adult bar quick while they sit over in the non-adult area. You can easily see them from there as its only like 40 feet or something away.

Haven't personally done it but we haven't taken our kids on a cruise yet.

Not that I recall. This is from an older Navigator on the Fantasy. The only lounge areas open to all ages until 9:00 were La Piazza, O'Gill's, and The Tube. All other lounges were 18+ all day.

Not new. Our family enjoys going to the pub during the day to play board games during the day. There are often family trivia and other all ages activities in those spaces.

But that's basically all of them because Pink and Skyline don't even open until 5:30.

And right now, Skyline is closed except for the adult tasting classes.

The D Lounge on deck 4 midship is a great family place to grab a drink before dinner.
There is usually live music. There is a small dance floor and they encourage the families to dance.
