Dream and Wish meetup

It says the Dream and Wish will both be at Castaway Cay on July 5. Can the CC dock now handle two ships? Or is this a typo?

No, Castaway Cay can only dock one ship. Now, one of them might do a cruise-by. That's been done before with two ships.

We were on the Magic's 4/25 sailing. We had a MAGICAL time watching our fireworks from the Magic and then watching the Dream's fireworks right after ours. It was beautiful to see the Dream so close at night!

Not with guests but it may be a test sailing and needing to test docking so they could dock, undock and move out for the guests..

The tests she‘ll be doing until the inaugural cruise are not published. The info on the DCL blog lists this visit as part of a formal sailing during a three-nights Bahamian cruise. It seems the blog did not ‘cancel’ two of the previously announced sailings. The others are crossed out.

Scott provides the following explanation in his reply/comment section.
“Castaway Cay is only capable of having 1 ship at a time. As for the port meetups listed here in the Summer of 2022 with the Disney Wish and Disney Dream on the same day. There are 7 Disney Wish 4-night sailings noted with an * in our Disney Wish itinerary announcement post which will have a different port order, but until the actual port order is revealed for those sailings they will remain as the defaults.”

The Wish will be there on July 5th. There are several cruises before the inaugural sailing to get things prepared and hopefully work out the kinks.
