I have been getting some things together for the trip and my DH tells me that I have too much stuff....Me? I think they didn't send all those bag tags if they didn't expect to bring that many bags

Does anyone know if you can pack all the FE gifts in a box and put a bag tag on it? Or is it better to use suit cases?

Nope - we didn't sign up for any excursions for this cruise because we just want to soak it all in. We'll likely do Castaway Cay in the morning and then head back to the ship after lunch. Sadly - that's when we have to pack too

We actually got out the suitcases today! We've been getting little things together but the suitcases are officially out now! I feel like we've had 15 months to look forward to this and now we're down to just a few weeks and it's coming up really fast!! I need to get in gear and really get our stuff together. I worked on the FE's today and organized them but I think we're still waiting on some cabin numbers so I can't really get a game plan together yet. We are just bringing ours in our suitcases and carry on's because I don't want them lost or broken (one of the items).

So very close now!! Enjoy the rest of the Holiday weekend everyone

We are getting excited..We did have a change of plans. Our friends were not able to come so we have picked up my youngest daughters best friend. So the 6 of us are really excited. We have our port hotel booked and my daughter and her boyfriend are doing the sea lion encounter. Other than that just enjoying the boat.

I had 2 of the grands over this last weekend. We did a ton of crafts, sometimes 6 things started at once since I forgot how short a 7 year old attention span was. I think the dinning room table only has 3 items going on now. Casey (DGD) helped me bag up some of the items and she loved seeing all the items I bought. I seem to be planning this for a year and buying stuff for most of that time.
Now if I can just stay off the internet (too many good ideas). I need to get the suite cases out and figure out how many of the luggage tags we are going to use ( hey, they sent 8 for some reason didin't they?).
Looking forward to meeting everyone, we are set to board at 1-1:30 time slot as we didn't get everyone to check in early enough.
Does anyone know if the Oceaneers Club/Lab takes reservations a head of time or is it first come first serve at the open house? is there an additional cost?

I am so looking forward to boarding the Dream. Yesterday, we had lunch with friends who were our tablemates in 2004 on the Magic and they were telling us how much they enjoyed being on the Dream.

FE gifts are just about ready for the suitcase.

Is a DIS meet at the 687 lounge around 3pm on Wednesday, the day we board, still a go? If we don't plan a designated place/time, we may never meet one another. If you see two oldsters - me short with short hair - him tall with a limp due to a knee that will be replaced in August - please say hi to us!

Just 14 days until we broard the ship, I don't know if I'll be able to sleep much until then. I "Officially" finished my gifts but now I found a new thread with more ideas! I'm sorry to all on this cruise as since I'm off work I kinda went overboard and am a little embarassed. It's like Christmas when I keep wanting to Give, Give, Give, I get the biggest thrill outa the giving.

Yep - two weeks!! All day I was doing the, "in two weeks we will be arriving at Port", "we will be eating at Cabanas", "the boys will be riding the Aquaduck", "we'll be sailing away" - okay, you get the idea!! LOL

I am about 95% done with our FE gifts and I combined each cabin in one bag and then put all the bags in one big Kohls shopping bag - oh my - it's heavy and a lot so I get it! So exciting, isn't it?

I'm so looking forward to vacation, soon!

GOOD NEWS! Today was my LAST day at my old job and to top it off, we head to FL on MONDAY!!!!!!

I thought I was the only one to keep making things! I thought I was done...then I thought of some more, and made them. I love to give too! OYE! I just hope everyone likes what I did.

I have all of mine in a large duffle bag that is REALLY heavy. Is there a weight limit on bags? I was thinking about switching it to a rolling luggage just for ease in transport.


I have the "map" done, but our cabin will more then likely be changing when we board. Long story and I have already talked to DCL. Would everyone like it anyway? How should a send/or attach it? Anyone know?

Safe travels to all who are soon leaving for vacation. Can't wait to board that plane for Orlando this Saturday.

Sorry that my FE gifts are not handmade. I am the most uncreative person you have ever met.
