Dream 3 day cabin choices

Considering DCL for the first time. Probably looking at no more than an oceanview room.

I'm confused as to what decks on best, where on the boat is best, etc.

Is there any cabin locations that I should try to avoid?

We are 4 adults traveling in two separate staterooms (no kids), but are not at all opposed to being near kids' clubs, etc.

We are trying 8A mini suites on an upcoming cruise. These are on deck 5, have 2 portholes, and have a wall divider masking the room feel like 2. Also 2 tvs. The 8A cabins on 6 are the same size and square but they don't have the divider wall.
