Hi,
DD has asked me if she can draw a picture and give it to Rapunzel on our trip as she is her favorite :lovestruc. i don't remember seeing other children do this so i'm worried that if she goes to give her a drawing and the cm say no she can not take it DD would be so upset. Has anyone had any experience with this?

thanks

Other people have asked about this but im not sure if anyone has actually done it.
I think the problem is what the character does with it afterwards. They cant keep hold of it as they will have other children to cuddle/sign autographs for/pose for pics with neither can they put it on the ground as it might blow away.
You could let your DD hand it into City Hall adressed to the character its for or try and give it and if they cant take it tell your DD they said to take it to City Hall for them and then leave it there

Aww that's a great idea,Thanks :thumbsup2
I think I will take her into city hall and DD can ask them to give it to her. It will be like posting a letter for her, I can try and turn it into something special for dd.
I don't wan't to run the risk of Rapunzel not being able to take it.

When we were queuing to see Rapunzel at Easter the little girl in front of us gave Rapunzel a drawing she had done and Rapunzel was lovely about it, looking at it with the child and then asking her if she would mind if she passed it to the accompanying cast member for safe keeping.

My experience is from Anaheim and not Paris, but it's pretty similar.

I had actually done drawings to get signed by the characters. The bears from Brother Bear can't sign because of their claws, but I did one anyway so they wouldn't feel left out. ;)

So Koda's first to come to our table (this was at a character meal) and gets all excited and starts signaling something to me. We finally figured out that he asked me if he could keep the drawing. He made me sign it for him and then actually took a de-tour to the backstage area to get his present to safety.

DD has done numerous pictures for various characters and has even gave some chocolate coins they have always taken it and been very sweet about it.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I don't know what to do now :confused3....... i think I may do what A Small World suggested and if Rapunzel can not take the picture tell DD she has asked us to post it to her at city hall. i think if Rapunzel does take it DD would be so chuffed and maybe worth the try :)

Yes after reading what other people say its definitely worth a try and you always have City hall as a back up plan.

Thanks A Small World.

We have just come back from the shop armed with glitter, card etc as we had a look in dd activity box and we had No Gold glitter for Rapunzel's hair (shock, horror :scared1:) and dd said "we can not do Rapunzel's hair without gold Glitter". Thankfully the shop had some and I live in a tiny village :rotfl:.

Hi again!

Just thought i would share DD hard work. she spent an hour and a half on this picture for Rapunzel, bless her. She wanted to do it all herself (as 4 year olds do :rotfl2:) she is very proud of it :lovestruc

she even managed to do the "floating lights"

Oh Karen that is so precious!!! Bless her!! :lovestruc

I'm sure Rapunzel will LOVE it :cutie:

That is a beautiful picture. I'm sure Rapunzel is going to love it:goodvibes

Your other option is to give the drawing to the Character Attendant to take care of until Rapunzel can get it. That way, you can show it to Rapunzel first, see the reaction and then give it to the attendant :)

Thanks guys for the lovely comments about dd picture she will be happy that people like it :)

Thanks for the advice WanderGirl :thumbsup2

Awww, that is so sweet. Might be worth popping it into a plastic wallet so that it doesn't get ruined if it's a bit wet though, am sure Rapunzel will love it.

Thanks for the lovely comments:cutie:, when my dh came home last night from work the first thing DD told him was about her picture for Rapunzel and that people from "mummy's computer" love it :rotfl2:.

Thanks for the tip about the plastic wallet angel_nix :thumbsup2. i have put it into an envelope with the cardboard at the back so it does not bend but i will get a wallet for it too.

Ah bless her!!

On my last trip I saw a little boy give Stitch a picture. After lots of Stitch hugs and then Stitch running around showing everyone the picture it was given to one of the CM's to look after.

You could tell that it made this little boys day so magical.

Jonjo that sounds absolulty amazing, something like that would really make dd holiday and would definetly be the "BEST DAY EVER" (lol if you have seen Tangled you will get my last comment :rotfl2:)
