I have a very very large window all the way across front of my house facing west. 18 ft wide an I need energy efficent to block out the heat in summer an cold in winter not so much black out but heavy enough to block the heat an cold. On another wall I have another window that is 6ft wide. Both windows needs long covering 80" long.

I do not want rod pocket anything travers rod or the rings that slide easy is ok as I want to open the coverings nice days an close at night.

Must be machine washable an tumble dry.

I hate mini blinds, vertical blinds roll shades etc.

I have looked at JC pennys an Sears online with any ready made curtain the panels are coming up way short or way to wide no matter what I do esp for the front of house.

I bought some drapes for our larger windows at Walmart.com. I needed really long ones and was able to find some good darkening ones there. We just put enough on to cover the width+ on the windows and were less than $25 each. (The material on the ones I bought are a bit like moleskin and came in about 6 solid colors). Good luck.
