Dr. Phil Show today

I happened to be sick today so I'm lying in bed watching Dr. Phil. Boy, did I pick a good day to watch. It was a group of women going thru divorce and the name of the show was First Wife's Club. Dr. Phil is going to help them thru, what to most women, is a very terrifying, depressing, lonely time in their lives. And, while I commend him, for helping them thru this trying time, I have to question what is his wife, Robin, doing on the show???? I'm sorry, they may be a happily married couple but to me it would be like rubbing salt in the wound.
Now don't get me wrong, I like his wife when they have the Ask Robin segments but since when did she get her degree in psycology???
Does anybody else feel this way?

I agree, she really has no business on the show most of the time she is on.

I wondered the same thing?? I am not sure she has any qualifications to be there helping these broken people.

I also question the 'beating up the chair' thing?? Seems to me those loser ex-husbands would gloat seeing their wives reduced to that on national tv? Just seemed demeaning to me...
