Dr. Jones and the Spitting Camel - Link to Alaska Cruise TR 9/18

:thumbsup2 Another great update!

Love that you make the nightly BIG rum and Coke a priority.

The towel cake was cute and I know I am in the minority when I say this but I am not a big towel animal fan. I hate having to fiddle with the stickers and crap.
BIG? Well only as big as the refillable mug allows...at least until Jeff runs down for refills! :rotfl:

It saved a LOT of $$ for sure.

Out of curiosity, why would you have to fiddle with stickers on the towel animals? We just wear them as hats, take a picture and set aside. Although you can see how well that worked out here. Actually, last year we did have 2 towel animal top hats...which is how the whole thing started.

The photo story of the falling towel cake was very funny! :rotfl:

It was a riot, still makes me smile!

Meeting old friends which you haven't seen for ages is a wonderful thing! :thumbsup2

It is!

Caught up. Yes, we've been on some of those "meat locker" buses too. Why do you always get them at the water parks?

Maybe it's deliberate. Freeze the water park people and sober up anyone who had too many margaritas at DTD.

:rotfl:

That towel cake sure didn't last long, being used as a hat.

No, it had a very short shelf life!

darn safe key teaser again, im thinking you are going to get us on this for a few mor chapters.

That darn safe key..........

Because they creep me out and I have to undo them. :lmao: The thought of a washcloth with eyes staring at me is too much. :scared1:

Ok THAT was a coffee spewing moment.

You could quarantine them in the bathroom...or do you think they come alive at night?

We didn't have any stickers or eyes this time...

Quarantining is not option. I disassemble the little cretins as soon as I see them. :rotfl:

I can handle the towels shaped as a Mickey head but nothing that could have a potential personality.

I'm seeing a whole spin off here for the Kingdom Keepers series...evil towel animals that come to life in the middle of the night....

Well...I will have a Mousekeeper story later....although maybe some of the towel animals are good and keep the bad mousekeepers in line....

War of the towel animals...I can see it now.

Can't wait to hear the story...........popcorn::

Hey C!

Great installments!

The towel animal discussion had me cracking up. Never done a water park, but I was on downward end of the Kahli River Rapids plunge and wound up drenched. Although I have to say, I actually loved freezing on the bus after nearly melting all day.

Looking forward to more as always!

Thanks GB!

Oh my goodness, it was cracking me up! Still is actually, I think I need to write a short story. Sometimes a freezing bus can be a good thing, no doubt!

Sounds like you guys had a great time at TL. I guess having those ice cold busses leaving the waterparks isn't a good thing. Glad your stop was #1! :woohoo:

What a cool towel creation! I've never seen them make a birthday cake before.

It is great to see an old friend after X years and just picking up like you were never apart!

I can't wait to hear about Raglan, but something tells me you didn't make it back to the hotel by 9. :lmao:

it was chilly!

it's it cool? So creative. Although it was funny, they used flowers to decorate it so it looked like it would have been more at home at the Poly. LOL!

you think?

Hey guys! I'm alive and still here I promise!

Crazy work week and add in a few things like...

1. New car shopping. UGH. Mission accomplished today.
2. TKD tournaments last weekend and next
3. Eric's birthday party tomorrow (friend party, only 6 weeks late, I suck!)
4. Cat drama. First it was hyper thyroidism...then maybe cancer...but maybe the cancer isn't really cancer and trying to decide how much to spend diagnositcally when something may be resolving itself. Or not. I LOVE my cat. Do I love him to the tune of 1K? 2K? UGH who wants to choose that?
5. Taxes. Extension lame people, like me (my first time ever on an extension) had the big due date tonight. BLEH.

So, despite the fact that the weekend is a bit ugly (cub scouts den meeting, zumba, play practice, Eric's bday party, couples night out, church, more play practice, neighborhood emergency meeting) I am hopeful that I will have the time for a nice long update about Raglan Road and our entire evening! Besides, I have reason to celebrate.

I have a new car!

I filed my taxes (finally)

:cool1:

That sounds like one seriously hellish place to be- except for the new car part! I really hope you can see light at the end of the tunnel!

Oh my! You've been a busy lady!

Congrats on the new car! What kind did you get?!

Hope everything calms down!
