Well now that I have your attention
You all know our friend yensid1222 AKA Scott, well Scott used to be the guy in charge of the pin trading station at the contemporary during all our Friday night meets.
Why he was there when the first meets were held and was one of the ones that help get it off the ground, I wasn't there as I was 12.
Well anyway Scott left Disney to pursue his career of acting, (Money fame riches groupies go figure) and last night we saw him in the production of Jekyll & Hyde The Musical, Scott played the part of the Bishop of Basingstoke, the Priest, and the Maitre D'
Even though he died in the first act he was miraculously resurrected for the second act as a priest.
But it was after the show that we had fun, you see it's a tradition to give flowers to actors and actresses after a performance, but we're pin people and Scott still collects and loves pins, sooooooo after the show while all the other thespians were getting roses we awarded Scott a CTT, Why not and you should have seen the looks we got.
Alas one other member of the play knew all about the CTT's and what they mean, you see the part of John Utterson Dr Jekyll's best friend was played by non other than Ron Burrage, sound familiar Ron is a Disney pin artist designer did mostly the California Adventure pins.
Is this a small pin world or what, these pin people are everywhere.
Scott was great and the whole group received a standing ovation. Afterwards we went to dinner, and then we watched as young hoodlums played havoc on the Cleveland Indians winter home sign, and put up Diamondback posters and banners all over the place. It was shocking to say the least, those middle aged pin traders running around .. errrrrr I mean young hoodlums running around mooning people, yelling Diamondback rule, what is this country coming to.
Anyway kids Scott was great, keep your eyes open there may some Disney theatrical things in the works, hmmmmmm you never know.
