Dr. Cinderella's Happily Ever After! WP/GF 2/14/12- End of Honeymoon & Trip Report!

Congratulations! Everything looks fabulous! What Etsy seller did you get the hanger from? I've seen them on other PJs..and I want one!:lmao:

I love your save the date! And the pictures are amazing. I wish I would have had engagement pictures done.

Thanks for all the compliments on my epics girls! I dont have too much wedding related to update, except I gave all my girls their bridesmaid cards, and they all loved them! Two even cried! So I was happy they all said yes!

My Dad has been planning out itinerary for our special "Holi-Diz" Christmas time trip since it is almost time to book our ADR's, and I am so excited! I have never been to Disney at that time of the year! It is just me and my parents, and are staying at the Boardwalk Resort! Here's a a summary of it:

Day 2: Day at new Harry Potter Park, Dinner at Tony's Town Square, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
Day 3: Character Breakfast at Cape May Cafe, Day at Epcot, Dinner at Le Chef's de France, Candlelight Processional, Jelly Rolls

Just seen your PJ. Everything looks great so far and I can't wait to see more :goodvibes

Hello again everyone! Sorry it has been a while but thanks for reading along! I will try to post a bit of an update tonight!

Sorry I have been a little MIA... In non-wedding news, I took my boards about a month ago, and just got my scores- I passed and did really well as well! I was in the 90th percentile, so very happy with that! So now I am doing my clinial rotations, doing my Family Medicine rotation right now and loving it! Not much new wedding related to update, since I have been very busy with school! Chris and I have been working on our guest list, so we can send out Save the Dates soon! It is tough sorting that all out! Well thats all for now...back to studying! I cant wait until the wedding gets closer and I can do lots more planning!

And here's a couple things I have had for a while, but dont think I ever posted. I got these Swarovski Crystal Toasting Flutes as a gift over a year ago at our engagement party and am just in love with them!

I also bought these David Tutera wine glass charms in Disney while on vacation, but am not sure if we are going to use them for the wedding or not. It might be cute to have the pink one on my champagne flute and the clear or blue on Chris's.

Also picked up this pen that matches my toasting flutes at the Swarovski store a while back, and thought it would be perfect for guest book signing!

I love David Tutera!!! I love the charms and the pen. I am so happy for you on your boards. Way to go!!

Congratulations on your boards! I took my pharmacy boards last year and it was such a relief when they were over, so I'm sure you're relieved.

I really like your toasting flutes... it's hard to find something Swarovski makes that isn't likeable :lmao:

Hi everyone! I have a question about my bridal party. I mentioned earlier in my PJ that me and especially my fiance both have a lot of people we are very close to, and our bridal party pretty large for a smallish wedding. Its a bit uneven too, which Im not too conerned about but right now I have 6 bridesmaids, and my fiance has 8 groomsmen. My party includes my sister, future sister in law, and 4 close cousins. My fiance's is 7 of his closest friends, and my brother right now. My fiance has realized that he forgot to include his brother in law, with whom he is also very close and whos wife and daughter are a bridesmaid and flowergirl. So initially I thought he should not ask him as the bridal party is already very large and uneven? But I know he wants to, so do you think 6 bridesmaids, 1 flower girl, and 9 groomsmen would be/look alright? I do have a couple more girls I want to ask. What do you think? Any advice? Thanks!

But I know he wants to, so do you think 6 bridesmaids, 1 flower girl, and 9 groomsmen would be/look alright? I have a couple more girls I could ask, but they are a cousin who is only 13, and a good friend who doesnt get along with my sister very well. But I really wanted to keep it to my close family, and gifts and flowers for bridesmaids are expensive! Plus I dont really like the idea of adding people just to even the numbers. What do you think? Any advice? Thanks!

Had you considered having the same number of bridesmaids and groomsmen and having the additional number of his friends (and/or BIL) be ushers for the wedding? For the pictures during the wedding...it is nice to have everything symmetrical. The additional friends can take part in the wedding by ushering.

You will want someone to usher people to their seats so that people are seated front to back and there aren't random empty pews, half filled pews, or people filling up the back of the church and not the front. It is nice for your groom to have friends to hang out with 30 minutes before the wedding instead of all of the groomsmen having to double as ushers, and the groom being alone. The nice thing about guys is that they are just glad to be asked to be a part...unlike girls, most guys don't care what roll they are asked to play, they are just glad to be part of the team.

Also a great tip that I love to tell brides is buy round white sticky dots around 3/4 inch and place them on the floor during the wedding rehearsal (if Disney will allow it) so that the wedding party will be able to go right to the correct spot and stand during the wedding. If there are other weddings going on at the same location and you can't place the dots during rehearsal...try to have them placed right before the guests are seated for the wedding. It is so nice to not have to worry about spacing, and it will help your pictures to look nice and even. That is just the perfectionist in me.

Since we have been engaged for over a year and have about another year and a half to go, I have been buying things little by little. I have bought several of my outfits already, and alot of my gifts as well so I thought I would share them!

Here is the dress I am planning on wearing to my bridal shower!

And here is the dress I bought for my bridal tea party! I love it!

And this one I want to wear to my Welcome Dessert Party in Epcot the night before the wedding. This is a dress I have from when I used to do pageants, and I am just dying to wear it again for something. I am thinking of having it shortened however, to knee length. I love it long, but think it would be more practical short. What do you think?

I also want to have it shortened so you can see my fabulous shoes! My friend wore these Christian Louboutins to her wedding a few weeks ago, and they were so beautiful I just had to get them! I would wear them as wedding shoes, but I already have shoes and think these are way too high to wear all day! But I am in LOVE with them!!

I will share some of the cute "Bride" stuff I bought too, but I dont know if I want to post what I bought for gifts until after the wedding, since this is a public board I am just afraid some of the recipiants might see them. Let me know what you think about all my outfits! As you can probably tell, I love clothes!

I think it may be a good idea to have the pagent dress shortened. It looks very like a wedding dress and if yiu are not paying for transport/escorts into Epcot for your welcome party, you may run into trouble with CMs thinking you are wearing a wedding dress in the park (which is not officially allowed, but there have been reports lately that people have been getting away with it!!) All you dresses are beautiful!!! I am in the process of searching for a dress for my teaparty but would not (unfortunately), get away with anything as lovely as yours as I am a good few years older and a few pounds heavier than you!!!! You are going to look stunning at all your wedding events!!

I love your dresses! Where did you get the pink one?

I love your dresses! Soooo pretty. I think that you should keep white dress long but it would also look cute short.
