You know that place you go to get away from the crowds….the madness..

Here are mine..(and please DON’T go anywhere near them..or ELSE!)

MK: Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café…all the way in the back by the bathrooms.(far far away from Ray)

EPCOT: Electric Umbrella Restaurant ..those always empty tables all the way in the back.

WSC: the Liberty Inn next to the American Pavilion…God Bless America (for a place to rest)

MGM: the ABC commissary nice places to hide…and catch the fall ABC previews.

AK: Tusker House Restaurant and Bakery outside.. yes “in the back”…there are cool crashing noises coming out of a back building. It is supposed to be from a rhino on the lose in the kitchen.

We don’t really eat in the above places we just USE them for “safe houses” (ok so I might spring for a small soda with 4 straws ...after all they are letting me use their space)

Next weeks Disney Question: what are the best attractions to take a quick nap in?

I always catch DH snoozing during Muppet Vision at MGM! heheh

oh - and that area behind Tusker house? I like it too...it's a smoking section...so just beware of that! :)

Our favorite spot is in the Town Hall. If you go back in behind the photo shop there is a "mini-theatre." They run classic Disney cartoons. There are also some cute scened from popular movies that can be used for picture taking. There are soft seats, and most important of all.......Air conditioning.
It's usually very quite. Last time we were there a lady had fallen asleep in one of the chairs!

Also, if you're really lucky...
Many of the characters walk thru there to get to the place where they take their breaks. So, sometimes you can get a quite minute with one of them!!

Flame Tree Barbeque in AK. Way out back by the river.

Rose & Crown in Epcot. A Black and Tan and sing along with Pam.

On the walkway that runs along rivers of America in MK. Nice and cool and usually not crowded.

The Back Lot Express in MGM. Big place with lots of seating areas. Room for everybody, even you, Charlie. Get me a beer while you're up, wouldya? :p

I agree about the Electric Umbrella.::yes::

If you go to Pizzafari in AK during the off-hours, it's wonderfully serene and cool inside.

ABC Commissary is good too, but I can't stand the food.;)

When I really need a break in the MK, I go to the Hall of Presidents. It's a long, cool break - and I actually find it to be interesting.;)

Cool question Charlie!

For Epcot, that little English garden (guess where ;) ), especially after dark. There is nobody back there. You'll have the place all to yourself.

MK - haven't found one yet!

Epcot- I'll agree with you about the Electric Umbrella. Every time I've been in there, regardless of the day or time, it's empty. What is up with that?

MGM - Since I have one son who refuses to ride TOT, he waits right where you first come off the ride. It's way inside, most people who aren't riding know you can wait back there. It's dark, cool and fun watching people when they first get off the ride!

AK - still looking!

IN the MK, the little seating area behind Sleepy Hollow. Nice place to sit, eat a fresh-made chipwich and unwind.

I always love a bench in Norway, in the shade, with a ringness...don't know what I'll do not that it is gone...:(
