DPS TRash the Dress Pics and locations

Hey there,

Anyone have any DPS photos of a Trash your Dress shoot? Also, can anyone pass on locations on property for such a shoot? Thanks!!!!!!

I'm doing Trash the Dress at Typhoon Lagoon in 2 months, so I will have them than! The cost is $650, plus $50 for 2 lifeguards.

Well, outside photography can't get into a theme park.....it just like MK/AK/Epcot portraits.

Very good point.
I just wonder how much of the park actually shows in the pictures.
Does DPS have samples of these posted on their site?

No, they don't (as far as I know anyway). It is definitely a bit of a risk since I haven't seen any, but TL is so gorgeous, that I think the pictures will be beautiful. My planner told me some of the most amazing pictures she has seen have been TTD at TL, and I am going to trust her on that!

Back in October, DH and I were at Disney Event Productions and the DPS office to create our Digital Montage Album. While there we were given a tour of the space and Amy had just gotten back from doing a MK & trash the dress shoot. We were lucky enough to get to look through a bunch of the pics she took. The couple added the trash the dress shoot onto the MK package and had it at the WL pool. I have to say the photos were awesome! There were some spectacular under water shots plus it was cold that morning so there was steam rising from the water in some of the shots too. I would've loved to do a shoot like this, but could NEVER do that to my dress! I don't have the courage to do that to my Romona!


Sorry I have no pics to share, but my point is any of the deluxe resort pools would be great for a shoot like this so don't feel limited to the water parks.

I think you're dress will be O.K. from what I've heard.
I've heard if the dress just gets wet, it can be restored like new.

I know David and Vicki Arndt and Randy Chapman are all doing underwater shots with Trash The Dress. I saw the Arndts at the zero gravity pool at the Poly. The bride and groom and the Arndts looked like they were having so much fun.
Randy had a Trash the Dress (under water) on his website.
This seems to be very trendy and if you check out some of the outside photographers, I think you'll get more for your money and they all seem to be offering the High Resolution DVD with the rights to your images. DPS is slightly overpriced when it comes to the High Res. and will never give you complete rights to your images. Believe me, I've asked.

I would love to see all the pictures from all the photographers because I'm so intrigued with TTD!

We considered an outside photographer, but for us, we decided we just really wanted to do it in the park. It is definitely a personal decision for everyone. We are already paying the extra to get the high-res DVD (from the ceremony and AK portraits), so it is getting put on there...and we will have the rights to print out the pics.

I'm so excited for you! I can't wait to see all your pictures! I know they will amazing at TL and that's wonderful that you can get them put on the high-res with the others.
