DPS photo package options?

Hey there!

I just got an email from DPS saying the options for packages after my MK Photoshoot are either:

12 print 4x6 album plus additional 4x6 prints not in album
12 print 8x10 album plus additional 4x6 prints not in album

and the option of a photo CD.

Does anyone know if you can get JUST the cd of the prints without the photos?

The official line is that this has to be negotiated individually, so talk to your Wedding Event Planner or your contact at Disney Photographic Services. And then let us know what you find out!

Do you know how much they charge for the photo cd? I did not know that option was available.

Disney offers Wishes couples a disc of high-resolution images from all events photographed by Disney for $1,000. The price drops to $500 three years from the date of the wedding.

Wishes Couples who only use Disney for an in-park bridal portrait shoot may purchase the disc right away for $750 or wait for it to drop to $500 after three years.

North American Escape couples may purchase a high-resolution disc containing all photos taken by Disney, including the wedding and the Magic Kingdom shoot, for $750; the price goes down to $350 if you wait three years to purchase it.

If you are willing to forgo the 20-print album, online posting of images, and proof book included in the Escape package, you may purchase all your high-resolution images on disc for $395.

Escape couples who live outside North America get the disc for free but don't get to pick which photos go into the folio that comes with the package.

Does that mean that in this case you do not receive an album but only the CD for free ?

You do receive the folio of 12 pictures, which you paid for as part of the MK shoot package, but you don't get to tell them which of the 100+ pictures they shot that you want in the folio. The photographer selects them for you. This is because they deliver the folio and disc to you before you leave Walt Disney World so they don't have to pay to ship it to you or worry about duties on the CD/folio.

North American couples have the option of selecting which 12 photos they want in the folio because it is shipped to them several weeks after the shoot.

But, getting all the images on disc for free sounds like a much better deal to me! Hope this helps!
