Driving back today from our 3rd trip on the DP. Each time I learn something new and thought I would pass along.
QS Credit Value - We stopped at the Boardwalk last night as it was a beautiful evening. We all thought pizza would be a good choice. There are 4 of us including two teen boys. At Boardwalk Pizza we were able to get a whole pizza, two salads, two desserts, two drinks, two waters for only 2 QS credits. Excellent value, was delicious, and filled all of us up.
Snack credit value - Back to the Boardwalk again today where we were using up snack credits. DS wanted ice cream. He was able to get two large scoops (so large that they put one on the waffle cone and one in a bowl) for just one snack credit. This easily was enough for two people. He didn't even touch the second scoop.
Converting QS to snacks - had no issue at carmel place in Germany or at the Boardwalk.
Stretching credits - With desserts it adds up to a lot of food. If you can agree on an entree, I highly suggest sharing both QS meals and TS meals. We did this a couple of times but could have done it even more. Plus there were times when we opted to pay OOP for a salad at a TS meal and just have it with water saving a TS credit so we could do a 2 TS meal.
