That is too bad to hear BUT......tis the season for flu and it will happen on more than just Carnival. Most sick people will not cancel a vacation unless they are on their deathbed. Which is stupid if your flying or cruising or both. They just don't consider others around them. So.....just be prepared to wash your hands alot and hope for the best.

What an awful nightmare! I can not even imagine being confined to a cabin. Many people like myself are seriously claustrophobic(sp?) I wonder what would happen if this confinement was to occur for a person like me? Talk about absolute "nut-case." They would be taking me off of the ship in that padded wagon, for real
I guess I will be doing some serious washing everything and praying hard next year. By the way.. It would not help if it is a balcony room or not. Just knowing I could not leave would throw me off the hinges. Whoa! I was reading on another thread at CCL where they were on the Legend, and their table-mates had it Sun-Wed. They came to the table with these folks that Thursday. These people were terribly upset, and understandably so.
