Which is your favorite resturant that takes the dining plan in Downtown Disney? I have never been there and may want to have dinner there. Thanks!

I would have to agree with Tinkgirl that Raglan Road is amazing. Try to find out the time of their live musical guest so that you can book a table for the entertainment - well worth it!

Other interesting eats in Downtown Disney include:
-Earl of Sandwich, which is a counter service, but has large portions.
-Wolfgang Puck cafe, which I beleive is another counter service restaurant. Has excellent food and decent portions, too.

I, personally, was not a fan of the T-Rex Restaurant. Slow service and an atmosphere that was neat for about 5 minutes. Even my 6 and 8 year old boys were bored and were not fans of the food. Very similar to a Rainforest Cafe restaurant.

Another vote for Raglan Road. I really like the calamari and scallop appetizers and the Dunbrody Jaffa Kiss (dessert)!

Another vote for Raglan Road--especially in the cooler weather.

Bongo's isn't part of the DDP, and that's why I like it. They have a menu with many choices, and I think the prices are reasonable. They don't take reservations, so it's our go-to choice when we don't have an ADR.

OP, I hope you don't mind me asking this question on your thread, but I think it kind of fits.

For those of you who love Raglan Road, can you please tell me what to order there? We love the entertainment at dinner time, but I haven't had much luck with the food. I ordered the It's Not Bleedin' Chowder and did not like it at all...I think I've discovered I'm not a fan of leeks. We liked the Shepherd's Pie and the burger. Well, we thought they were good, nothing special. Any other suggestions?

Both parts of Bongo's (the TS and the QS) are listed as participating in the 2012 DDP.

I've had the calamari and scallops appetizers and both of those were really good. The presentation of the scallops was pretty neat and they were nice and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside (same for the calamari, but without the presentation). In terms of entrees, the fish and chips were very good and I had the Guinness stew (Sod the Stew). I thought the stew had a very nice, albeit slightly bitter from the Guinness, flavor. The meat was very tender. The Pie in the Sky was also good, but it has leeks, so it's probably not something you'd like. For dessert, Raglan Road has one of my absolute favorites: Dunbrody Kiss. It's chocolate mousse with orange marmalade on the bottom, covered in chocolate ganache. So rich and yummy!

Definently, Sandwich of Earl!! Yummy!! We went there for the first time this year and it was the BEST!!! My vote for sure!! Good luck!

I guess I need to give Raglan Road another try. Glad to read some suggestions of what to try.

We always enjoy Fulton's. It's just a beautiful setting, good seafood! Their spread for the bread is awesome! I always take the recipe with me but never get around t making it at home.

Wolfgang Puck Express is the best counter service on property, hands down IMHO. Having said that, for Table Service, I loved Raglan Road. I've eaten at Planet Hollywood, T-Rex, and Rainforest. Planet Hollywood seemed a step up from the other two, which were virtually interchangeable.

Here's my Raglan Road video review:

Enjoy!!!

I agree on the Wolfgang Puck Express - that place was fabulous!

We will be eating at Fulton's Crabhouse and Paradiso 37 on our upcoming trip. We can't wait to try both of these restaurants. A great CS is EoS, we love it here...everything is so good. The only TS restaurants that we have eaten at but I wouldn't say they were our favorites was Portabello Yacht Club and Captain Jack's.

Raglan Road, Paradiso 37 and Portobello are our favorites.
