I'm going down to Orlando next Monday for a modeling convention at the Orlando Mariott World. I am going to be within 1/2 a mile of WDW...and I'm not going to be there   !!! I can see Downtown Disney and even possibly Epcot from our ROOM!

The good news? We're going down a day early...there is a slight chance of visiting Downtown Disney!

Advice on how to make the most of that short trip to DTD? And how to get the most "Disney feel" from it?

Disney Quest is a must.

The Virgin Record Store is a must.

Comedy Warehouse is a must.

Adventurer's Club is a must.

And there are a few more resturaunts that are a must, but I'm forgetting their names.

Late.

Disney Quest wasn't all that great for me... I'm not into the whole "virtual" thing. Definately go to the Dsieny store for some souvineers :goodvibes

IF you have been to Disney Quest before don't go again. It has become almost run down. They took a lot of stuff out and a lot of stuff ( equipment of old attraction) just sitting there. It is usually really crowded. But if you have never been there they still have a lot of stuff but If have been there before it is kind of dissapointing.

ooh deff. shopping at the world of disney, ghiradelli uhm, the christms store..heck do it all XD. and youve got to dance at this little spot right infront of the train ride. they play disney music the whole time, and its kind of a family tradition to just start dancing in the middle of it all to whatever song is on :goodvibes :rotfl:

I wouldn't suggest Disney Quest. I went in November (we had ultimate park hoppers) and it was terrible. We could only keep our selves occupied for 30 minutes. All we did was Cyberspace mountain...and we walked around. If you're not going to the parks I guess it would be a good way of getting into the Disney mood.

When did this happen?
