I've never been to Downtown Disney, and am planning on going here a few times during my Oct trip. :flower: I've read lists of the different stores at different websites, but want to know more about them, especially the bath store, the pet store, and the scrapbook store. :flower:

We love going to DTD and going there is always the first day of our vacation. The World of Disney store is magnificent - you can get lost in this place for over an hour, easily. The X-Mas store is another one of my personal favorites - I get a new ornament every year for myself and for members of my family. The Toy Store is great fun - you create your own Mr. Potato Head by buying accessories that you can't find anywhere else.

Besides these there are also many, many other stores to visit. We spend an entire evening there from about 4pm-11pm and this is with us rushing. We would like to have more time to shop slower.

Oh.....don't forget about Ghiradellies - you have to stop there for a Hot Fudge Sundae!!

The scrapbook store is not really a store but a small part of another store, they have just a few scrapbook items in comparison to scrapbook stores back home - and all the scrapbook items can be found all over the World as well, they are just at this one location together.

I leave in a few days again and haven't seen it yet, but my mom visited the pet store and said it's similar to the scrapbook store, just a small part of another store that houses all the same pet stuff you find in other parts of the World in a central location. Nonetheless, I bet you Harley will come up witn several items from there!

THe bath store you are referring to is probably Basin, right? It's a chain store, actually, not Disney exclusive but very cool - lots of soaps, lotions, fizz balls, etc. I like to visit but I'm allergic to the smells so I can't stay long =)

Hope that helps!

Oh don't forget to try out Disney Quest. You can easily spend hours in there..

As a visitor from UK i loved the scrapbook store. It's only just taking off here so i was very excited to find so much disney related scrapbooking :goodvibes .I also love the huge disney store. You could get lost in there.DM and i were wandering through all the different rooms for bout 2 hours :earsgirl:

One of my favorite stores at DTD is Magnetron, which is on the West Side. Almost everything they sell is magnetic--and cute, and inexpensive. I always buy something there for my secretary, and since I collect lighthouse magnets and jungle animal magnets, I love it there! I also have a couple of bracelets and a necklace that I bought last time. DH is sure that the reason I planned our trip for this month is not to see the Flower and Garden show but to shop at Magnetron!
