Downtown Disney-please help

I Have heard that parking is a nightmare now. I am going to be going to Circus Sole show on a Saturday night and then going back on Sunday for lunch and shopping. On Saturday it will be 2 adults. On Sunday it will be my entire family (5 people- 18month old and 4year old). What options do I have for alternative ways to get downtown besides driving. Please don't use abbreviations. I have seen them in other posts and I have no idea what they are talking about.

In order to answer your question, people are going to need to know where you're staying. On property, or not. If you're staying on property there are buses and even boats that can take you there. Or you can go by cab wherever you're staying. Maybe you may want to post this on the transportation board, as well. I'm sure you'll get better replies there. Just make sure you include where you're staying.

Hope you enjoy the Cirque du Soleil show. We saw La Nouba last year and liked it.

well if you are staying at a disney world owned and operated hotel just take the bus that goes from the hotel to downtown disney.

I am not staying on Disney Property. I just found the transportation board so I posted this question there too. Thanks!

Went to DD a few times mid August and although there is a lot of construction, parking onsite was still fairly straight forward. The furthest west lot is where we would park and it is right at the theatre you are going to.
