Downtown Disney on Dec 26th

Hello! We are going to be at Disney for Christmas this year (woohoo!) and heading back on the 26th. The discussion now is to fly home earlier in the day or as late as possible. I know Downtown Disney gets horribly busy around Christmas time, but I'm not sure if it is still super crowded the day AFTER Christmas? Can anyone speak from experience? If it's not so bad then we will probably take the later flight and spend the day in DD.

Any help would be much appreciated!
