Anyone have an suggestions for places to eat at Downtown Disney? We recently ate at Raglan Road and the food was disappointing.

Sandwich of Earl for something fast and casual. This is a regular stop for us. A good, quality sandwich, chips and a side. NEVER have been disappointed.

Bongos for a table service meal. If you aren't sure you'll like Cuban foo, try it - it's the best. If you sit outside, I bet you are served by Dany. He'll help you through the menu.

Enjoy!

What didn't you like about it? We have an ADR there for the first time so I'm curious what you didn't like about it.

Bongo's Cuban sandwich is nice for lunch, either indoors or at the walkup.

The only thing we like about Raglan Road is the appetizers. The entrees are not consistently well prepared. DO NOT order the fish and chips from the restaurant. Go to the counter service (Cooke's of Dublin) and order it from there. You'll have to hope for a seat (and it will most certainly be outdoors) but the difference in quality is monumental.

We don't care for the Rainforest/T Rex chains, so we only go there when our guests insist.

Portobello can be nice... Fulton's is worth a miss...

We had the fish & chips at Raglan Road last week and thought it was outstanding. It was lunchtime, the restaurant was cool and quiet. We are actually putting that on our regular to-do list.

Pass on trex and rainforest. We eat at Bong's once a month or so but the last few times have been not so good.

Fulton's Crab House is one of our favorite restaurants at WDW. Excellent seafood.

We have enjoyed meals at RR, HOB, Fulton's and WPE and all were very good.

We do not patronize any, but if you must, in order:
. . . Portobello (best there, but still just above average)
. . . House of Blues (good, dependable comfort food)
. . . RFC & T-Rex (expensive, but above average)
. . . Bongos (good Cuban dishes)
. . . Paradiso (they try, but fall woefully short)
. . . Planet Hollywood (too loud, and less than average food)
. . . Fulton's (expensive and underwhelming)

I'm going to give a big thumbs up to Wolfgang Puck Cafe. Great variety in the menu (sushi, pizza, pasta, entrees, etc.) and everything was delicious! :thumbsup2

This past Nov we ate at Wolfgang Puck Cafe and it was fantastic

Raglan Road was not good and we usually love Fultons but the meal was very disappointing this past May so we are going to give it up for a while

Definitely our first choice. It's overpriced, but what at Disney isn't. It certainly does have the best food in DTD!

We love, love, love House of Blues. We make a point to go to Downtown just so we can eat there. We have never had a meal short of fantastic there, and as Disney restaurants go, the prices are pretty reasonabe.

We are doing Raglan Road again in Sept because we enjoyed it so much last year for lunch.

We were also impressed w/ Portobella's. Not over the top WOW THIS IS FANTASTIC, but it was a tasty lunch.

We feel Fulton's is good too, just so overpriced... what isn't at Disney? Still enjoyed the meal and they gave us a free dessert for our anniversary...

DH loved the shepherds pie at RR on our last trip.

My favorite meal at DTD is a sandwich from Earl of Sandwich. YUM. And I've heard great things about WPE.

If you could point out other restaurants on WDW property that you do like it might be easier to guide you a DTD restaurant. Our taste is for Wolfgang Puck Cafe and House of Blues.

We ate at Fulton's last July and just loved it. Going back in Oct. and thats the first place we are eating. The food was excellent.
