Downtown Disney: Da' Debate --> Wolfgang Puck's Express vs. Earl of Sandwich

Need some advice here from all you experts...


I am planning on going to either one of these
Counter Service (CS) locations the night of
the Cirque (9:00pm showing).


I will be using (CS) units for my family..


As far as food quality goes, which do you prefer....

I LOOOVVVE Wolfgang Pucks Cafe Express...went there in October and will definitly be back again.

Wolfgang Pucks Cafe Express, good Pizza & Pasta. More filling than a sandwich.

Ohh tough choice. They are both really good. If you want a meal go with Wolfgang. They have great pasta and pizza and I love their roast chicken. Earl is really good too but less of a meal and more like lunch. I usually decide which i am going to based on which line is shorter.

Well-I can't imagine myself standing in a line for an Egg Salad sandwich, so I think I'd opt for Pucks.
I mention Egg Salad only because my friend last trip stood in line to get that very item and said it was the best Egg Salad he'd ever had in his entire life --
Unfortunately, there was no place for him to sit and eat it..

We liked Wolfgang Puck Express and would eat there again. But there is no way I would choose WPE over Earl of Sandwich. We thought the quality of food at Earl's was much higher. I make special trips to DTD just to eat at Earl's, but I can't say I'd do that to eat at WPE.

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Earl of Sandwich!!

We've never been disappointed with anything we've gotten there and even my picky DS enjoys it. It's always busy...but that's a good thing..means the food is worth standing in line for!

Wolfgang Puck Express would be my choice, so many things to choose from and everything I've had there is so flavorful!!! Yum!!!

Earl, hands down. We were just at both last weekend. Before I'd had Earl I'd would have said Wolfgang, hands down, but now I have to say Earl. The quality of food at Wolfgang has definitely gone down in the past few years and they are more expensive than Earl for a smaller sandwich.

Plus, I found the line system to be MUCH more efficient at Earl. Both lines were massive when we got there but SO made it through the line and back with our sandwiches in 5 minutes, compared with the 15 minute wait at Wolfgang (and the Earl line was longer!)

We really like the food at Earl better than WPE. Very flavorful, large helpings, reasonable prices, great variety. WPE is good in our book, put Earl is great!

I was very disappointed with the sandwich I had this trip. I had the Original, which I really enjoyed about a year ago. This time the meat had a lot of grissle(sp?). I was going to complain to the manager, but my daughter wasn't feeling well, so we just left. My husband had the cannonballs (meatballs), which he thought were just good. I think we will try Wolfgang Puck's Express on our next trip.

Wolfgang Puck Express is fabulous. My partner loves the garlic & rosemary roast chicken with garlic butter mash potatoes . Their macaroni cheese is great too. Well worth a visit..
Cant wait to go now - only 9 months to wait!!!!

Love Earl of Sandwich. DH and I stayed at SSR in Oct and I think walked over there to eat 3 or 4 times. Had a different sandwich each time and all were delicious! The line usually looks intimidating but it moves quickly.

We usually arrive at Disney on Saturday after a 5 1/2 hour drive and one of our traditions is after check in we always go to DTD and eat at Wolfgang Pucks Express. We have never been disappointed by a meal...great food for adults and kids!!

Ate at Earl's in November. Not impressed at all!

If I can get my act together next week, will post my reviews.
