Downtown Dis Portait Studio

We're leavining next week!.....

I remember from my last trip(2001), there was a portrait studio in DTD where you could have a really nice pic taken w/ MM & a magical background. I wanted to go back with the kids when they were dressed nicer but we never made it.

Does anyone know anything about this studio? Do they take "sitting" appointments? I'd love to have a nice Disney Potrait done for Father's Day. DH isn't coming w/ us this time because he started a new job & can't get the time off


I checked Disney's website but don't see it listed under the DTD stores.

I read on here a while back that it was closed

It was closed as of March 2003. We were down for 2 weeks and put off having our sons pic done, until the end of the trip...they closed it while we were there. I'm not sure if it reopened or not, but they told us that it was closed.

No, it's closed. The "background" is still there, but the rest of that shop is gone.
