I hope they can find time to join us but I'm not getting my hopes up. The pool was a great way to chill out before the flight....well until Josie nearly bit through her tongue. It all worked out though. We will probably avoid the pirate pool next time. Too many little ones unsupervised.

Almost done...it is bittersweet. I"ll have to get started on my PTR. Like I've said a time or two...not letting this year deter me. Never had rain like this in the three years prior so we're going back at the same time. This has been a crazy year for weather in general. Final thoughts on the way!

What a GREAT Astro Orbiter picture! Oh and girl I have to agree 100% with you! Chef Mickey's was awful! It tasted bad AND looked bad! We were so disappointed because up until now it was one of our favorite places to eat! Same thing happened to 1900 Park fare after they refurbished. They used to have the BEST food! I guess I can still visit but it will have to be during breakfast. Dinner is a big NO NO!

I love the Judge me by my Size T! It's so cute! Oh and let me congratulate you on the raise!!! That's GREAT NEWS!!!! Does this mean you will be coming to WDW for the Holidays also!? <wink>

I still have more catching up to do. Will I ever get back on track!? Probably not. Colleen and I are doing our TR together. Come and check it out if you have some time.

Thanks Connie! Yep I'm serious. I almost had a stroke when he told me. He came in my office with a piece of paper and shut the door. My stomach dropped instantly (thinking it was something bad) but it was awesome news. We didn't do anything to celebrate other than lock in on a fall break (Oct. 7-11) trip to Gatlinburg/Smoky Mtns. I put the deposit down today. I'm pretty excited.

Hello! I was searching around for info on the Seas Aqua Tour, and I came upon your wonderful description; the pics were great, and very helpful! Sorry for just butting in here, but I have a couple of questions after reading your report though, hopefully you can answer them.

-You mentioned that "We left Joe and Lindsey outside the main gate, got our time to be at the aquarium and headed to have some fun all by ourselves." Do the cast members tell you what time to be back at the Living Seas to see your family?

-Where did you watch for them to swim by? I was surprised that people on the tour can be seen in the tank, since they're on the surface and the viewing windows are underwater, but clearly they can! I would love to be able to tell my Mom where to go to see my sister and I on the tour.

-Any information on why Mickey was in the tank, and if this is a regular occurrence? My sister had told me he used to do it years ago, but stopped, and I think she would get a kick out of seeing him in there.

I can't believe I am so far behind. I hate that your trip ended with poor Josie getting hurt. I posted on my May TR about all the rude people at Disney during our trip. I hope it is better next week. Your TR being over officially means the May trips are totally done.

I have to tell you I had a little tear in my eye when you talked about the pilot saying the seat belt sign had to stay on for awhile. I hate when that happens.

Can't believe your TR is almost over....but we'll have a PTR to look forward to again....can't wait.

As it cools down I'll be inside more and tanning no longer takes up 1-2 hours a day and the pool is down. LOL I'm making an effort to get back on regularly. We do plan to go back for SWW. Awesome! Maybe we can hook up again. I've looked at the Contemp during our dates and it's more than the Poly. Only the REALLY $$$ rooms were left when I was pricing things out.

Only a few more weeks of nice weather and then it will start to cool off and I'll be a home body/computer geek again. The next week is going to be crazy with everything to be done for Josie's b-day party. I'll get through it and then should have more time to be on the DIS and read everyone's reports.

Hi there! Thanks for reading my TR! Here's the 411 on the tour:

1) We asked the tour guides and they told us to be back at the observation deck about 45 minutes to 1 hour after we left Joe and Lindsey.

2) We went to the observation level and they were swimming in the tanks with the sea turtles etc. It's the windows right in the middle of the room. Your Mom won't be able to miss you. If she's there early enough she can say hi as you enter the backstage of the aquarium. I got a quick pic of Lindsey and Joe in the wet suits as they were entering.

3) I don't know why Mickey was in the tank but he was there about 10-15minutes after the tour ended.

You've made a great choice for a tour. My gang loved it! Hope you have an awesome time. If you have any other pictures, feel free to ask. We'd be happy to help!

Thanks Dana! I can't believe your at 6 days. I hate that we are at the end of the report but that will just give me a great reason to get started with my PTR!!! I'm already scheming on that trip. I'm really hoping for the 4/3 deal again. Are you gonna make it back in May? I was telling Joe about everyone going again and he asked if you and Dale were going back at the same time. I told him I'm not sure but I would definitely find out. Sooooo watcha doing May 22-29 next year?

It brought a tear to my eyes too. Not a fan of flying...AT ALL. I'd rather drive but Joe refuses. I'm going to get my final thoughts posted and will try to get started on a PTR very soon! Thanks for reading along the last few months.

The raise was one of those things you can't share with friends at work or facebook (because coworkers are on there) and I had to tell someone ( I was over the moon excited) and decided to tell my DIS buddies. I'm so glad I have you guys!! I knew you guys would be happy for me.

Okay, don't really know what to do here so I decided to list the most memorable parts of the trip by discussing the Good, the Bad and the Ugly of it.

We'll start with the Good:

1. Meeting my DIS buddies & their families: Mary, Dana, Becky, Nichole, Lessa, Rosie, & Tammy. Great ladies, Great families!

2. Let's Celebrate Promotion - Joe really liked getting a gift card to buy souvies. He spent enough that I got some too. Double Bonus!

3. Disney Dining Plan - this works really well for our family. We enjoyed our meals at 1900 Park Fare, Teppan Edo, Ohana, and CRT.

4. CRT - the food was good and the atmosphere (with two little princesses) was fantastic. Our family loved it!

5. The Seas Aqua Tour - Joe and Lindsey loved it and plan to do it again during our next trip in May 2010.

6. BBB - a little pricey but totally worth it to see your girls sooooo happy. This was Lindsey's third time and Josie's 1st. We'll be back next year for Josie although sadly Lindsey has outgrown it....

7. AAA Storytime Experience- Loved it! The girls still talk about how Snow White read a story to them. Special memories for sure.

8. Twitter/Facebook: I loved being able to update what we were doing through my blackberry. It was fun to see comments from friends at home as we went along on our adventure.


The Bad (but not too bad):

1). The rain! I was so tired of wearing a poncho and not being able to show off our cute matching outfits, BBB dresses, pins, etc. The good about the rain was that we tried a lot of things this year that we normally don't check out because of crowds, time contraints, etc.

2.) Magical Express: The wait getting to CBR was horrible. It took way too long. The wait on the way from CBR to the airport was only a few minutes which kind of outweighs the long wait getting to the resort.

3) Star Wars Weekend: Liked it but didn't like the crowds and waits to see the characters.

4) The pirate pool at CBR: great for the kids to play but beware most people turn their kids loose in their and it can get really rough...especially for small children.


The Ugly:

1) We didn't make it to the beach....AGAIN!

2) Chef Mickey's.....one word...NASTY!

3) Rude people....I think the rain washed away a lot of folks brains....nuff said.

4) Joe's b-day cake....wasn't made as requested and tasted really gross. We'll be going back to Goodings/Publix for a cake.

Well that's it folks. I could go on and on but those are the highlights. I was trying to think if there is anything I would have done differently and I can't really think of anything. I think we had an awesome time despite the record-level rain and we are already making our plans for the next trip. I've enjoyed getting to know each of my readers and I consider each of you friends.
