Isn't this a new thing you can do now, to unload your memory card? How, exactly, does this work, does anyone know? I have a Kodak Easyshare.

Thanks!!

I've never used it, but from what I've read here, it downloads the pictures from your card to a cd and the cost is around $12. I'd rather just buy an extra memory card. If you go to www.ecost.com you can get some really great deals. I just got a 256 SD card for $7 after rebate and a 512 SD card for $27 after rebate and free s/h at that. That's not really cheap, but to me it's cheaper than paying $12 for each CD and I can keep using the cards. Plus I don't have to worry that they didn't download right. I've heard of people getting home and their pictures didn't download adn they lost all of their pictures!

I would also recommend just buying a larger memory card...I wouldn't trust anyone to put my pix on cd! :earseek: We have several memory cards now, plenty of room for tons of pix! :)

We always bring our laptop and download the pictures every night.
It is a little ritual we all get excited about. DH download the pictures from all 3 cameras (me, DH and oldest DD) and we love looking at the pictures that same day. It also is handy as we know what pictures we didn't get or don't look good. The next day we will try to reshoot.
