Downloading to video IPOD ?'s

Is it possible to download from your digital to a video ipod? Instead of having multiple or extra large memory cards, I would like to be able to transfer photos to my Ipod each evening of our trip and have a blank disk when I go to the parks each day. If this is doable what special connectors/cables would be required, roughly how much are they and where might they be found?

Yes this is possible. I do it every time we go on holiday. All you need is a Camera Connector from Apple, which plugs into the bottom of your iPod and then you simply connect your camera's USB cable into that.

If you are using your iPod with a PC you'll need to enable it for disk use prior to using like this (means you need to eject it manually when finished synch-ing with iTunes), but ifd you use with a Mac, iPhoto will automatically detect the pics on your iPod.
