Downloading Disney Ringtones

Holy Moly! Now I'm getting all caught up in this...
Another stupid question: 1 use/$1.99, 3 uses/$5.99 ect...
Now, I'm assuming they don't mean $1.99 every time the phone rings, so what do they mean by "use"?

Thanx.... :drinking:

T-Mobile here.
I have the Mickey Mouse March for my ring tone.

Can anyone explain the Verizon usage per download?

Thanks

That means you pay $1.99 to download it once. If you erase it or accidentally lose it you must pay again to download it.

I recently downloaded "Calypso" and the M&M Easter pic. I can't wait for more ringtones form Disney and Verizon.

You may not be sunk if your carrier doesn't offer them! ;)

I have a Motorola 220 which is capable of polys and mp3's - For $15 bucks I bot the USB data cable for my phone, as my carrier doesn't offer anything Disney. I was easily able to rip audio off from any of my Disney CD's, edit and resize the track and port into my cell phone! So I now have;
The Mickey Mouse Club Theme
The entire opening theme from the tv show "Wonderful World of Disney"
A midi of Never smilie at a crocodial (Tic-Toc's theme from Peter Pan)
and about 8 others!

So don't surrender or pay more if you don't need to! Just go find a geek, or your neighborhood 14 year old and you're all set! :earboy2:

Get it Now on Verizon had different companies that offered Ringtone downloads. I had to spend $1.99 to find out that I chose the wrong company. FYI use MIDIringtones not the other companies.

I was able to download "When you wish upon a star" from aol. It has a place to download ringtones. (I am also an aol subscriber). The cost was $1.99 and a few cents Cingular charges per kb to download.

Hakuna Matata for me!

I have Sprint and have a "vision" package where I get $5.00 worth of downloaded ringtones a month and they never expire. Games, however, do expire.

It said "Belle", but I know the song as "Didn`t see it there before" :flower:
Downloaded it from Verizon "Get it Now", ringtones. It cost $1.99 for the one use ( meaning "your changing your regular ring, to the Disney Collection ring ), for a one time charge of $1.99. ( I called Verizon to get it right) ;)
The rep. said that 2 uses would be "for example", 1 ringtone, and 1 wallpaper, or 1 screensaver on your phone, and then ,the prices would differ from 1.99, but whatever you might choose, it would only be a one time payment.

I have the same phone... Motorola V551..with Cingular Svc.
I have the "MM Club" ringtone and also MM wallpaper!
Everyone loves it..
Sometimes I call myself to hear the tune !! Hee-Hee !! ::MickeyMo

I have a Nokia with, well I guess now it is Cingular service.
When it was still AT&T I downloaded "Chim Chiminy, Chim Chim Cheree" (what else would it be given my screen name!) and "Minnie's Yoo Hoo".
Minnie's Yoo Hoo is currently set as my ring tone. I also downloaded some fun wallpapers, stitch dressed as a devil for Halloween and now I have a retro Mickey and Minnie set.

Does anyone know where I can get Disney riongtones for my Siemens phone? I have Cingular as my carrier.

Can anyone tell me what is included in each of these packages.....

I tried Verizons site but it does not give any further info ...... :confused3

is there a site to hear the song before you pick it?

I just upgraded my Verizon phone and was all excited about "Get it Now". I checked out all the downloads and wouldn't you know my new phone is one of the few that can't get Disney stuff> :sad1:  !
I can get 'Rainbow Connection' from The Muppet Movie and a whole package of songs from The Incredibles. (not my style)
If you have Verizon you can go to the Verizon Wireless website and go to Get It Now. There you enter the make and model of your cell phone and see what downloads are available for that phone. You can preview many of the packages [listen to the songs] (except the Disney ones) right there. If you haven't used Get it Now before you can download a demo (1 day use) of any of the packages directly to your phone.
I am rather an old fogey and don't like most of what is available for my phone. :sad2: Ah well I will have to use what I can. :smooth:

I believe that you can sample them in Get it Now prior to purchase. I found the Disney Collection is midi ringtones (so not original song) so I've never used them. I have the Incredibles magazine (vs. Pixar one) and I love it. First time I felt compelled to pay for a ringtone and Syndrome and I are currently good buddies. ;)
