Down time at Epcot?

I agree with everyone else, there are loads of places to just sit and relax at Epcot, especially in WS. My favorite is in Morocco, there are lots of shady spots outside where you can sit with a cold drink or an ice cream cone (my fav) and just people watch. There is also this lovely tile room that is quiet, cool and very calm. I go in there and just sit and relax all the time. Or, if you are an adult beverage drinker, Italy, Germany and France have wine tastings all inside.

We love both the UK and Canada pavilions! They are both beautiful and relaxing and have some quiet areas to sit.

Over in the building next to Club Cool, connected to innoventions, there is a huge walkway/corridor thing on the side of the building looking towards the imagination pavilion. Not sure what purpose it serves, but it is overly air conditioned, not many people in there and a great place to take a quite moment to relax. there are not too many benches from what I remember, but it is so wide, you can just find a spot on the wall, sit or lie down and relax. I find 15 minutes recharges me much more than sitting in a busy area, or being in the heat.

If we are exhausted and actually want to sleep, but don't want to head back to the resort, then we walk over to the B&Y Club and nap on the loungers on the beach! It's usually very quiet during the day. And even though it is out in the sun, I still manage to fall asleep within 10 mins of laying down!
