Hello, everyone! My husband and I are on the train back to Seattle this evening and reminiscing about our first (of what appears to be many) Alaskan cruise with Disney. The highlight of the trip for us was -- hands down -- the onboard naturalist, Doug Jones. We attended all four talks he had on board, plus all his narration on Tracy Arm day.

I would love to keep up with him on social media but can't find him. Does anyone know if he has a FB, Twitter, or Instagram account? Thanks in advance!!

I found his website with photos that he's taken:

I was hoping for something on social media. Looks like he links to a Vimeo page on the site you posted. I guess I'll start there. Thanks!!

We just got off the same cruise and we also said how wonderful he was. I would love to let Disney know how much we appreciate him. Is there a way to do that?

I mentioned him on the DCL comment card that I turned in before disembarking. Just tweeted at him and DCL. Hope he knows how great he made the overall experience of our cruise.

He mentioned that this is his fifth year with Disney and it's Disney's fifth year in Alaska. My husband and I are planning to go back in another 2-3 years. Hope we see Doug again!

He was fantastic! he was on our flight to Seattle on disembarkation day but I resisted the urge to engage him in more conversation. Figured he was on well deserved time off

I can tell you that we visited the ice glacier on Skagway day and ran into him and a cameraman filming for Destination America show on Disney beyond the parks

That is so cool! I never watch Destination America because we "cut the cord" four years ago. This will give me an excuse to head over to my mom's for a cup of coffee (she can DVR it for me). Thanks for the tip!!

Destination America was on our Ketchikan excursion "Bering Sea Crab Fisherman" boat. The episode will air in early January--I asked the crew.

Just watched the episode that my mom DVR-ed for me. It was excellent! All about Disney "Beyond the Parks." Three segments: DCL Alaska, ABD Wyoming, DVC Aulani. It was good to see Doug on the TV and I'm excited to get to Aulani for the first time next year. Hope I can save enough money to go on an ABD trip one day!
