So, my family and I are going to Disneyland August 18th - 20th ( I know bad time to go right :confused3 ) want to know if this is a good resort? It has a great rate of $119 per night now but didn't know if it is a good hotel?

Thank you!

Can't talk about the hotel but we always go this time during August. Its hot and very busy, but the weather is cooler than where we live at that time of the year and it coinsides with my birthday.

We stayed there in 2005. The rooms were nice and clean. The rooftop pool was nice. And the breakfast included with the rooms was really nice. It was a buffet every morning.
The only complaint we had was it was a longer walk to the park than we usually have (usually stay at Fairfield).
I would recommend it.

Which Doubletree Hotel are you referring to? The Doubletree Hotel is on The City Drive and the Doubletree Guest Suites is on Harbor Blvd. I've stayed at both and they are both nice. The Doubletree Hotel is not within walking distance. The pool is nice, the beds are comfortable, and the restaurant is good. It is near The Block at Orange, with lots of eating choices. The Doubletree Guest Suites also had nice beds, a refrigerator and you can walk from there, although it is a long walk. I didn't use the pool or restaurant when I was there. :)
