doubletree DTD and disney buses

If I stay at doubletree downtown disney can I get on a disney bus to go to the contemporary resort?

You should be able to get a bus to anywhere on Disney property just by taking the bus from your hotel to downtown disney! We stayed at the Grosvenor in 2001 and we just walked to Downtown disney and then bussed to where we wanted to go.

From the Doubletree to CR would probably be easiest to take the bus to the TTC and monorail from there.

Do you mean while you are already at a park or do you mean directly from your resort?
If you are in a park and are going to the CR for dinner or just to look around you can take a bus from MGM or AK. If you are in the MK you can walk to the CR or you can take the Monorail. If you are in Epcot you would take the Epcot Monorail to the TTC and from there take the resort Monorail to the CR.

If you are talking about getting a bus from your resort directly to the CR, no you would either have to go to DTD and get the CR bus from there or take the hotel bus to one of the other parks and go to the CR from a park.

Once you get either to the Marketplace or PI, yes, you can board the bus for the Contemporary.
