OK, so here is my problem. When we return to Disneyland, my oldest ds will be 6.5 yrs, and my baby (I am currently 15 weeks pg) will be about 9 mths. The trip will be with my family, but dh will not be joining us. My sister and her dh have my niece, who will be almost 6, so they will be busy with her. My dad has MS, and we will be renting him a scooter, so my mom will be busy with him. I had thought I would just fly my own stroller down, but now I am starting to worry about what I will do with my oldest ds. We have been to Disneyland 3 times, so I know how much walking is involved, and I just don't know that he could do it for a week. So my next thought was to not bring my own stroller, but then rent a double stroller for both my kids. But I can't seem to find any info about double strollers. When we have gone in the past we have always brought our own, so I don't know anything about renting.

If I can't rent a double, does anyone have any suggestions of what to do with my 6 yr old????

Babysaway.com rents double strollers - I'm not sure of the pricing. You might want to try googling baby equipment rentals to see what else is available in orange county.

There are no double strollers at Disneyland, unfortunately. You can rent 2 singles but that wouldn't do you much good if you won't have someone else to help push one of them.

My only suggest would be to bring a baby carrier (Bjorn, sling, whatever you have) and carry your baby that way when you son needs a break. Or, of course, stopping frequently so he can sit and rest if wearing your baby isn't an option.

Who knows, maybe by the time you're there again they will have added double strollers. I really don't understand why they don't have them considering the number of people who would likely want to use them.

You might want to think about getting one of those sit and stand strollers. I cant think about what else you can do. My son was 4 when we went and we did SOCAL for 9 days, all of them park days and he walked the whole time. :confused3

This is what I plan to get.. the sit and stand stroller. My five year old tends to complain a lot so I figure she can ride on the stroller when she gets tired. Although my soon to be one-year old is becoming very mobile so i'm thinking she will want nothing to do with the stroller! I checked online and they sell these at Target for about $120... not a bad price.

They dont get the best reviews, but I figure..hey, as long as the kids arent complaining! My almost 2yo refuses to sit in anything right now. The grocery store is real fun for us!:lmao: The have one at Babies are Us, but i dont know how much they cost. We thought about getting one, but my son never wanted to sit, so I guess we will live with just a single!

If you have A Disney Visa CC you can get up to two free stroller rentals a day. I don't think they have double strollers though!

We got a sit and stand stroller for use at Disney World last summer, when my kids were 5 and 2. It was perfect.
