She handed off to us! Her kids were very cute! It was so nice having a stroller. It was very nice. I left it at SSR for Jill and made sure to tip well just to ensure it getting to her. They did not give me a number or the peice of paper. The lady said since I would not be the one picking it up I wouldn't need it. Now I am kicking myself that I didn't grab it anyways.

We had great weather and the only day that it rained we were able to keep it under cover, went to see Laughing Floor, so even without a rain cover we were fine.

It is great having a cup holder that holds more then 1 or 2.

I heard from vbarry--they handed off the stroller. all is well.


it is funny I think her kids had the same view most of ours had, they were all sad to give the stroller back. That is so funny to me. Even my guys were like, wait--we don't get to keep it? WHY NOT??!!?? they loved having it. So did my back.


This has been a pretty good process so far. Not even terrible having to replace it, thanks to YoMickey(could not have put a new one in service without you) and the manufacturer (sending a new one without having the old one back) helping me make a smooth transition.

I do not know how much longer I can keep running the swap though. I have most dates secured till May, we have a few gaps that need to be filled--but not terrible ones. It is time consuming, though not as bad as it was in the beginning trying to get it running. If anyone would like to take over the swap, please PM me.
I also think if it is going to keep going, we may consider starting charging again and then replace the stroller as soon as we have enough to do so. It is working as far as I know, but time will take a toll on it. Especially with daily hard use like it gets.

Just a quick update.
I picked up the stroller this evening from SSR no problem.

So far, we are off to a great trip. We left PA yesterday and drove staright thru. We left during snow in PA and very cold and windy. Went thru lots of spotty rain, but nothing bad. Traffic was low.
We arrived this morning at 7am. This week we are staying at Marriott Grande Vista and going to Universal. They had a room ready for us when we arrived at 7am!!!! It has a gorgeous view of the lake and is a dedicated 2 bedroom, which is a huge bonus! The room is gorgeous, in one of the newer buildings. I will try to take pics and post some when we get back.

After checkin we went for breakfast and gorcery shopping. On our way back I relaized I lost my wallet. I had placed it on the back of thr truck while putting in the bags. My DH flew back to the parking lot and we jumped out, and holy crap---there was my wallet still stuck on the back of the truck!!! Talk about a save. Then we went to the pool and came back for a nap.
Tomorrow we hit the parks! Temps are going to cool down, but not like at home.

With the addition of the last 2 swappers, there's only one big gap left between now and April. That's great! I'm happy to see that the stroller is getting used.

Hope everyone is staying warm. It is supposed to be frigid cold (at least for us) for the next few days. We just aren't used to having single-digit temps here in the south.

Where were you when I was trying to rent out points! LOL I'm still sitting on 210 AKV points that are use or lose by Sept 2010 and I'm not sure we are going to do a spring trip next spring either. It all depends on when we get into a new house and how long it takes us to get baby #5 (hopefully this is the month! LOL). If you're looking for points for your next trip, hit me up and I'm sure we can work or a deal.

And I agree, YAY for everyone for keeping this thing going strong!


Now to figure out who has the stroller next week so I can get their cell number. If I can track the MIA pieces down I'd like to get them handed off asap!

So excited!!! The trip is getting closer and closer and I want to thank you so much for this swap. What a relief to not have to worry about my kids and tired legs or having to carry them or having to bring a stroller with me from CA. We leave in about 3 weeks.

I've been in contact with the swapper before me and have just PMd the new swapper after me...also staying at POP...easy peasy for a swap!
