If that's ok with you? I don't want you to have to be out of pocket the money any longer than you'd like.

Also, what does everyone think we should do with it at the end?

What normally happens with the strollers at the end of a swap? I would have no idea what to do with it. I would be fine with donating it.

Julie--I don;t mind waiting a few more days for the money to see if we get more takers in the swap.

Amaia-any thoughts as to where you prefer it shipped? I have it ordered to come to me, so I can send it to you wherever you like, and likely to arrive whatever day you prefer. Let me know

I know there are several people on the boards that get to go often, I wish we could. We'd like to buy into the DVC but haven't had the opty (spelled m-o-n-e-y) to yet.

I may be interested in the swap. My dates are 12/6-12/13 and we'll be at AKL. I'm a bit nervous about the time between my dates and doxxie. Will they hold the stroller for that long? We're driving down, so I can meetup easily. And remind me what's the weight limit on this stroller? Thanks from a newbie

Where are you driving from? I am in GA and can easily get to 75 or 85. So if nobody fills in the gap I can bring it back (we're driving as well) and then you can meet up with me to pick it up (if you have room to haul it). I know that we'd like the stroller to be there in December as Jill has some dates she'll be there as well but I don't know what her dates are.

Nevermind on where - I see you are near Memphis. What interstate will you take? We're in mid - northern Ga. - Stone Mountain. But like I said, I can easily get over to 85 or 75.

If you and Doxxie can work something out to transfer the stroller, that would be great! I am actually back in Florida on December 13th-18th. So, we can pick back up swapping that week, or we can work something out for it.

I found a review last night that said despite the website saying it was 150 pounds, the owner's manual says 100 pounds. I also found very conflicting information out there. After reading this, I'm assuming 100. Is the stroller shipping to Julie first or straight to Florida? Once she gets it she could look at the manual and see what it indicates. Or we may be able to find the manual online.

actually it is coming drop ship to me, then I am shipping to Amaia at POP or her house, whichever she decides.
I can try to get out the manual, but don't want to bother the packaging too much.
I don;t know why there are different stories about it, but I would agree, better safe than sorry and we say weight limit 100 lbs.

Ok, well if the total weight limit is 100 lb. then I'm cool. Combined, my kiddos are about 83lbs. I would prefer to get the stroller at WDW. I'm not sure we'll have the space in the car to load it up from GA (even though I think we're driving through Atlanta). Do we know how long WDW is willing to hold a stroller? Will AKL store it? Perhaps more people will join this swap and it will be a moot point.

Lets ship directly to POP. Stupid AirTran changed my flight from non-stop to a layover (even though I paid more money to get the nonstop flight... grrr). It sounds like gate check is the way to go and I just don't know how well that would work with having to change planes. PM for whatever details we need in order to get it there safely.

Is there a way to figure out what tool/s I would need to bring to assemble this bad boy?

I have to tell you - I was at Valleyfair (think SixFlags of MN) and the whole time I was eyeing up everyones strollers. Because of all of this stroller talk I think I developed stroller envy

when it gets to me, I will get the manual out and see what tools you need, then reseal and ship it down to POP. I can get the address from the resort page on here, they usually have the resort addresses all listed. You will need to PM me your info to put on the label. (first name, last name, reservation#)
I had shipped a box down a year ago via UPS and that was all I put and they had it when I checked in.
I will ship to POP via UPS, have a store not far from me, so I can then send you the tracking # and have signature required so we know who at POP signs for it.

For ease I think I will order the rain cover and sunshade from Amazon and have it shipped. I can either have it shipped to me and then ship it to whomever (or carry it down with me if nobody is interested in using them). Or I can ship them to the first interested person for them to take down with them.

It should only be about 15 to ship it down, so I can cover that as part of organizing the swap.

well, Amaia is 1st up on the 13th at POP.
Amaia-do you want to use those items for the stroller?
The more I read about it, it isn't a bad idea to have the raincover to keep the stroller protected from the get go.

It would be great to have those things for the stroller. Do we want to just ship them to me or to POP? I would be more than happy to travel with them if it lessens some of the hassle.

I will also bring something to mark the stroller for us. I will use one of our luggage tags and some pre-printed signs to help us navigate through the swapping.
