Last night I showed E our Fish Extender that Tiffany made us.
(wasnt going to spoil the surprize but well I have to show the great work Tiffany did! THanks again!!! ) She used cami material for the mickey heads, E has the captain hat (thought it looked close enough to his blues cover LOL), the boys each have pirate scarves (E called them the bloods and the crips since they are blue and red LOL) and me I get the crown and pink cami materal ... I love how I stick out.. cuz you know ITS ALL ABOUT ME

He said it looked awesome, but it was still met with a look of what is it for and why do we need it. SOOOOOOO I had to get on the DIS and show him what it is, what its for and WHY we need it.

I started putting together the fish extender gifts and asked him if he wanted to help... thought it would be a fun activity for us to do together... until the boys went to bed...then I could find another activity for us to do together! . HE said NAW its ok. Figures. SO I put them together while he watched ESPN

WHAT? You didnt really think I was going to show you pictures of the stuff inside the bags now did you! Ha HA This is as much of a sneak peak as your getting... HEY I gave you the Fish Extender ... SOMETHINGS have to be a surprize! I have the adult cabins all done. Will work on the kids cabins this week. (There is a lot more of them LOL)

Thought I would show you all my new Disney Closet that E shakes his head at everytime he walks in it. This is all the stuff that is going with us. Either in F/E gifts, S/M gift or stuff for US. Snorkles and goggles, lil stuff for the boys to be surprized during the week. Glow sticks (btw find me on Pirate night I have a TON of them!) water toys and sand toys. ALL that are going with us but NOT coming home with us. (Well except for a few things, have to have room for all the rum cakes LOL)

Soon I hope to have all that organized and ready to pack in our carryon or most likely that extra suitcase that Im not allowing E to take.

I also have been going MAD with Disney Shopping. I have a few shirts/tank tops for me. 1 for E and 1 for P. Still need to find something for J. E went shopping this week and found a BUNCH of clothes all of which he kept saying I can wear this on the cruise and that one the cruise and this would be good at the World LOL I think he thought by saying that I wouldnt care how much he spent since it was for my obsession "the cruise" Hey if he doesnt care how much I've spent on the cruise I dont care how much he has spent on it!

I also did some back to school shopping for the boys and there stuff is hidden in our closet, due to the fact that I know they would wear it just to go play outside (BOYS! )

Then there is my "HOBBY" ya I claim Im a scrapbooker. But really I just buy the supplies and stick them in my rooms (yes I have 2 rooms for scrapbooking. WELL 1 is a large closet (supposed to be the guest closet but well we dont have many of those visit) the other room, is well mine, I have sort of slowly brought things up to my room to work on while E was gone and they never made there way back down. My newest buys are what else.. Disney scrapbook stuff. Really hoping its not years before I put this cruise scrapbook together. But its probably not looking too good since I still have never scrapped any of our yearly trips to DisneyLAND

Once I finish getting my F/E stuff together. I will be able to work on my Secret Mickey stuff. I believe I'm done with it, just need to wrap things and figure out what and when Im going to drop things by my s/m's cabin . Im planning on doing a lil something everyday with a large drop either Thur or Fri. Im so glad we as a group deceided to do this, it really is helping pass the days till we set sail!

see I have stuff in different rooms etc. that way John doesnt see it all.

I have piles of back to school stuff too. someone from another company just sent John 3 huge bags of pencils, pens and erasers. I have become the teachers favorite mom.

Drea....If I can make a suggestion.........having been on now 5 disney cruises...and having a wife that packs like you do....I suggest that you ship dowm all the stuff that you plan on not taking back with you...We have done this every time and are doing it again...it is totally safe and you will be pleased that you don;t have to lug all the extra stuff with you...

In all seriousness you don't have to worry about it through the mail stream...it's what they do with it when it gets there...and whether or not it makes it on to the boat...but I figure if so many people do it and few (if any???) problems...there probably isn't much to worry about. But like Charlie said just send the disposable underwear and stuff....

Yes, I have come to the conclusion I have a problem. (ok a few but this is my newest that I will admit too) I am an ADDICT. I had a problem a few years ago. I thought I had got back on the wagon. I think the problem was I quit cold turkey. The doctors always say thats the worse way to stop something. In moderation is the way to get off a habit. I understand. That is the 1st step admiting you have a problem, I think we may need a group therapy session for this.. Best cure I believe is hitting the adult pool with drink in hand once on board! I may need A LOT of therapy!

No really I dont want you to think Im blaming Erica, really I thank her (E on the other hand may not LOL) But when we were talking about formal night I told E I really didnt want to take one of the dress's I have worn to the Marine Corps balls as they are really big and heavy and for only wearing it for a few hours is not worth it. SO I wanted to find a lighter dress for formal night (plus if he and the boys are getting new suits I want a new dress )
This is last yrs that I may just end up wearing if I dont find anything.

Year before that (EH not thrilled with it anymore)

Or the 2 yrs before (dont like the way this one fit on me now)

After searching the malls and shops and finding nada... or finding something worth an arm and a leg, I give in to trying ebay. I have bought shirts there and other non clothing items but was a lil weary of dresses and such just cuz every body is different what may be my size in #'s may fit differently. But I give in due mostly to the fact of them being CHEAP!

I find a few and just keep my eyes on them. I put a bid in and right after I click submit, I hope someone outbids me cuz I then find something else I like LOL. Well I do get outbid. QUITE a few times. A few of them Im ok with some of them Im down right MAD about, others I hope I get out bid for. Im starting to think its just the thrill of winning again that has me going. Cuz I looked back at some of the dress's and man they werent all the pretty. I think a few Kathrine Heigel put on ebay from her 27dresses movie. AND I bid on them! LOL.


THEN I find THE ONE! . I can even wear it again for one of the balls. I keep my eye on it all week. Then we go out for breakfast Sat morning, the boys go to motorcross, and I go to the mall to shop solo. Find nothing end up with a new pair of shoes for work, and play, 2 books (Army wives and the Last lecture) and a cookie and milk from Mrs Fields to drown my sorrows.
I come home to realize I forgot about my dress I fell in love with. I run to the computer check and yup its over.. and won.. by someone else.. for $24 including shipping. Im bummed.
If I see this on any of you, I so will be pulling a ugly stepsister from Cinderella move. JK I will totally complement you on your great taste!See how purdy

I keep looking for other dresses but they just dont wow me like the last one. I did find a dress at Macys, I may go back and get. It was on clearance for $20 but it was missing a few lil gems on this like brotch type thing that I could easily replace being craft as I am (yes I toot my own horn ) So they would give me 10% off, so for $18 a new dress. But it didnt wow me. Plus its strapless and Im really trying to find a halter just cuz well thats how my bathing suits are and after being in the sun Ill have a NARLY sun tan that wont look so great in a strapless dress.

On a side note I do have good ebay winning news. I won E a new suit for $45 including shipping and the boys each a 5pc suit for $35 each with shipping. NOT BAD. Now to find a new tie for each of them for semi formal night.

But with all this searching on ebay.. I think I might put my 27dresses on there and make a few extra drink of the day dollars

Those are in good taste for back-in-the-day prom dresses. Drea, you can't be that much younger than me...but somehow I ended up with an orangey-peach satin nightmare (with the dyed to mach shoes and purse), and a huge pink lacey floor length poufy tiered thing) All the rage in 1990. Of course I didn't have any $$$, what I really wanted was a big poufy blue sequined travesty...sigh....

Last year for Christmas my wife gave me a 7 disc set of nothing but 80's music she got off of ebay. After seeing TBC last week, I changed my IPOD to have nothing but 80's music on it. I miss that decade.

I think our little TR writers might be a little too young to truly remember the glory of that decade.
