Double Cashback on Ebates for Orbitz Today (4/22/14) but...

...the "up to 13%" does not include "activities" like park tickets. The biggest cash back is only on cruises.

I was all excited when I first saw Orbitz was their daily double. Activities are 6% cash back. Weren't they 6.5% last week? I wonder if this means that they will only be 3% cash back after today?

Bummed. I am still not over the fact that I missed the 20% cash back on activities a month or so ago. I need 4 adult tickets for September and that would have been quite a savings. I pray they will bring it back before I have to purchase.

Did you have trouble linking the tickets you bought to MDE when you purchased using the 20%? I do plan to use the 6% if that is my only choice but want to make sure I can make FP+ reservations.

No - no trouble at all. I emailed Orbitz customer service for my "My Magic" code, got a response about 24 hours later, and linked the tickets in MDE. It was painless.

Same here. I got the email for the 13% and was ready to pull the trigger today. Our trip isn't until December so I guess I can keep waiting. I doubt we see the 20% again.

I ended up buying tickets today with the ebates link. Orbitz currently has a buy 3 days get 2 free promotion with the Water Park and More option that was $10 cheaper than anywhere else. Add the 6% and I saved close to $100 total. I was also waiting for the 20% again, though I think I missed that boat...

For the last few days, the rebate on Activities was dropped to 3%. I've been watching every day, and was surprised when it dropped. But now it makes sense - they probably did it so they could "double" it for this supposed promotion. Feuxmotion is more like it
