Dorky Disboutiquing DiserSistas:Destination Disney HeatherSue's(best)version OVER1/27

Ok, you got me back for all the times you said I made you cry. That was a great summary!

Re: the stuffed gator "I can't decide what disturbs me more: the fact that it's not finished, or that it only has four toes." :lmao:

Love the dancing in the kitchen of the rental, with Henry and Sawyer eating all the surplus. Too funny!

The only thing good about you finishing this report is the fact that you can go back to Disney with a clean slate.
I, on the other hand...I might still be doing my stinking report next time we go back! LOL

Thanks for taking the time to share! :thumbsup2

Aw, your family pictures at the end made me tear up a little (very unlike me!). I wish you and Teresa were my sisters and we could complain about things together!

Can't wait to see you in Michigan!

GREAT ENDING...not what happened with the airport...#&*@ airport guy about the stroller...what a....I won't say it...this is a family show.

Wow...who would have thought Henry would realize there was a missing bag...now really, why didn't you sleep, the fact that you thought the bag was gone or that you had to admit he was right.:lmao: I would have been stressed over the missing stuff too...good thing you have an eagle eye family wot watch your back!:thumbsup2

Poor, Poor fishy! But you crack me up!:rotfl2:

That is so funny she was looking for you the week before...um...did she call the police when you didn't show up? She wasn't too worried I guess?:confused3

Yep, the look back got me all teary too...so sweet! Sorry it's over!:sad2: What a great trip!:goodvibes

Heather,
I just read your whole trip report (in 2 sittings). What a wonderful family vacation you had. I have to say my favorite parts were the pool parties organized by Tessa.

I am so sad your trippie is over!!! I loved all your updates and enjoyed reading it very much! I'm also glad that the green bag wasn't lost forever...I"d be quite torn up over that as well. What a nice sister you have that she grabbed that bag for you! I'd also like to thank you for actually completing your trip report because a lot of people get to busy or just forget to finish theirs and that can be a bummer. I hope if you take another trip that you'll do another report. I'd def read it. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!
I was always determined to finish this trip report! I knew it would take a while because it usually took me around 4 hours to write each update (with uploading pics and such)! But, I did it! Thank you so much for reading. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas, too!

First of all...going to walmart! That is awesome.

Eating in walmart...:rotfl:

The taco comment? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I hope your friend Kristen thought that was hilarious...because I sure did! I would love to look like a mermaid! Even a giant, kind of scary, mermaid! :rotfl:

Bless Tessa! She is such a good sport! What a terrible gator? and what do gators have to do Disney? It sounds like that commercial on TV where the dinosaur shows up to the kids birthday party! :)

and missing fingers and toes...:lmao:

That is so cool that you and Teresa got to ride in the same airplane home! How fun!

Your international discussion with the Canadians...:rotfl2: I hope you didn't sign any treaties! :)

And bad, bad gate attendant! You better be nice to my friend next time! :sad2:

And your flight....Oh no!! :scared1: it must have been horrible to have everyone clap when you landed! wow...

I have wondered the same thing about those shoe stations! :)

Uh on the bags....I sense that is going somewhere...:rolleyes1

And the parking folks...WOW...They better start being a little nicer, too. I would have made some phone calls over that one. You are nicer than me! :) Sounds like she KNEW she was trying to rip you off!

Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!! Bless your heart! I bet that was a long night. I am so, so glad you found it! GO Teresa!

The tribute to Favorite...what a trip! RIP... bless it!

Wow...what a GREAT TR! I have enjoyed it so much! You have a beautiful family! I can't wait for you guys to go again...so I can read another awesome TR! Lots of picture in Feb when you guys go! :)
What great comments!! Thanks for multi-quoting me and everything!!

I have to catch up on your TR one of these days, in my spare time. ;)

My friend Kristen is not a Diser :sad2: She even went to Florida, with the plans of spending 2 days at Disney. Then, they DIDN'T GO TO DISNEY!!!:scared1: But, I did tell her that there's a giant mermaid that looks just like her down there.

Heather, loved reading every minute of it!
I am so glad that you have your green bag!
The ticket counter should have definitely told you that you needed a ticket for your stroller! I can't believe that they tried to blame it all on you!
I am glad that you had your receipt for parking. I can't believe that they were trying to make you pay again!
Some of these reasons are why we are driving to Florida on our next trip. I really dread the drive, but I don't have to put up with a lot of other things that really annoy me while traveling. I don't like to be annoyed while I am on vacation!

Thanks for taking us on your vacation with us!

I'm beginning to think that driving wouldn't be so bad. Then again, I have a feeling we may need 5 or 6 "what if somebody pukes" bags if we did that. I'm the only one in my little family that doesn't get car sick (anymore).

Wow what a trip!!!
A scary mermaid,
a creepy alligator,
a scary flight
and then a scary bag near loss.

Thank God for sisters and good for Henry for actually noticing. My DH is oblivious to such things.
  What was up with that Southwest guy? It's his coworkers fault if they didn't give you a tag for the stroller. Not your fault honey.

I thought the People on Southwest were supposed to be funny and nice??

We don't fly though so I don't know.

I love the photos at the very end. Everyone looks so happy! They are such good pictures of you and your family.

Thank you for sharing your adventures with us!

I think people on Southwest are usually funny and nice. I seem to bring out the worst in people. :confused3 Maybe they are jealous of my beauty and grace.. :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Teresa has flown with them before and they were great. I also think they gave Lydia all their leftover pretzels at the end of the flight. But, we'll have to wait for her TR to see what really happened there.

LOVED LOVED LOVED your trip report. Can you please convince the Disney hater that you need to go back like, tomorrow?? I NEED to read another trip report by you. While I am at it, would you adopt me? I already feel like you are my long lost sister.:goodvibes
I have good news! I am leaving the Disney Hater at home and going back in February with just me, my mom, and the kids! Woo-hoo!!

Anyone else going to be there from Feb 3-10??? I know a lot of disboutiquers are going to meet up on Feb 8th!!

Thanks so much for all the time and effort you put into sharing your adventures with us!
You're welcome! Thank you so much for reading!!

Heather i loved reading your trip report. You guys have such a fantastic family! I loved all of the customs, funny stories and great pictures. Thanks for sharing with us! =) Maybe your dh will become a disney lover afterall.
Thanks so much for reading and for telling me you enjoyed it!
As for converting the Disney Hater, I highly doubt that!

Hi Heather!

I haven't posted after the last few updates but I have still been reading. A great end to a great report! Between your report and Teresa's I almost feel like I know your family and from what little I know you are very lucky!

I guess I will have to hang out with you guys on the DISboutiquers thread since your tr's are over. I don't sew but I make t-shirts and scrapbook -does that count?

Thanks for sharing your trip with us!
Yes, please hang out with us!! I also know another great place you can visit!! We are always looking for people to make iron-on shirts, autograph books, etc... for the Big Give!! The link is in my siggy!

I only started reading a little while ago and I haven't posted yet, but that was such a sweet trip report. Thank you for sharing that.:thumbsup2

Thanks for posting! I'm glad you liked it!!

I don't believe I have posted on your TR at all, but I have been following along. It has been wonderful to read and your last post here brought me to tears. The love between you all is very evident and very sweet! :goodvibes Thanks for a great read!
Wow, I love to have lurkers coming out and saying "hi"! Thanks!

I know I was mostly a lurker but I really enjoyed your trip report. I have tears in my eyes from reading the end of it. Thanks for taking the time to write it. Laura

Aw...I love to make people cry! ;)

i made it all the way thru and am so sad it is over. i feel like i was there with you , it really was a great trip report
we also stopped at the silly mermaid store and felt like it was the worlds biggest ripoff.
and there is nothing wrong with eating at walmart.
kmart by me that is another story, the health dept has closed them down everyother week, but walmart thats ok, the two near us have a mcdonalds, and a subway.
thanks again for sharing your trip
and pretty please will you think about writing one about your trip without the disney hater, pretty please with sugar on top
Yep, I draw the line with eating at KMart! :thumbsup2

I =]just spent the weekend reading your TR! :surfweb: I followed you over from the Disboutiquers board....I always read it but don't post much because, well, I don't have a sewing machine or any kids...yet! :lmao: I felt like I already knew a little bit about you, from reading all of your posts over there and seeing all of the adorable outfits you've made! :cutie:

It was lots of fun to read your TR...I really do wish that I had a family that was up for going to Disney in a big group like that! I have been out of college for about 2 years, and right now I'm teaching and living on my own. It's a bit lonely sometimes...but reading your report gives me things to look forward to, when I have a family of my own. :grouphug: Thanks so much for sharing everything!!!

Erin
That is so sweet! You almost made me cry! I'm sure you're going to have a wonderful, Disney loving family one day! Even if you end up marrying a Disney hater, you can still have a great time. Just make sure he's really cute! :rotfl:

Hi Heather,
Saw your post on DisBoutique (daily lurker over there) and came over to read about your trip and check out the customs in action. You have such a beautiful family and I loved reading about your trip. Mary Poppins day was my favorite. So sweet.
That was a great day!

Ok, you got me back for all the times you said I made you cry. That was a great summary!

Re: the stuffed gator "I can't decide what disturbs me more: the fact that it's not finished, or that it only has four toes." :lmao:

Yay! I made Sarah cry. My journey is now complete!

I know you can finish your TR! :cheer2:

Aw, your family pictures at the end made me tear up a little (very unlike me!). I wish you and Teresa were my sisters and we could complain about things together!

Can't wait to see you in Michigan!
Woo-hoo!! I made Steph tear up. Wow, what an honor!
Even if you're not my sister, I still love to hear you complain. We can just sit on the couch and complain about everything when you come to see me. Do you realize it's only about 12 days away!?!

You make a very good point....I MAY have been up all night because I had to admit that Henry was right. There's nothing I hate more than looking stupid! Unfortunately, it happens quite often. :rotfl:

I can not BELIEVE you are laughing over poor little Favorite. Didn't that tribute bring you to tears??? I was going for tears there!! :rotfl2:
He was a very nice little fish. He would get all excited when we came over to the tank.

Heather,
I just read your whole trip report (in 2 sittings). What a wonderful family vacation you had. I have to say my favorite parts were the pool parties organized by Tessa.

Isn't she funny? Thanks for reading! I understand why you wait until people actually finish their TRs!

I'm sorry to see this end....I enjoyed reading about you and your family.

Just wanted to tell you that I'll have a trippie starting if feb that you'll be more than welcome to come read! We had a trip booked this month for the 13th-21st, but then couldn't get off work because it was to busy since they were wrapping up for the end of the year, but we were promised (we work at the same place I am his assistant and we work in a field office for a pipeline company) time off at the end of jan so we booked a two week disney vacation...seven days in disney world and then seven days on the disney magic! :goodvibes

Heather...I was just trying to find my post and I can't find it....:confused3 I know I read the ending and I remember posting but its not here??? I really apologize...you probably think I blew you off..... :sad2: but I didnt...really I loved the ending. Sorry to hear about the "lost bag" that made you upset....but thank goodness Teresa picked it up! She is the bestest! :cutie:

I loved the ending and the kids are so adorable! Glad you made it home safe and sound! Can't wait to meet you and Tessa and your mom....its only like 50 days away

I can't believe that it came to an end. What a great ending though! And I"m very impressed that you managed to stretch it out until within 6 weeks of your next trip :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

(BTW, is parking in Detroit always that cheap? That would have cost $375 in Boston...no joke! :scared1: )

Oh no! So sad your TR is over. Thank you for hours of entertainment! I was thinking about your TR recently, because I was at Disneyland for the day and encountered so many dreadfully rude CMs! :sad2:

Thanks for all of your comments, everyone!! I'm glad I held onto a few readers to the end! Teresa hasn't read it yet since she hasn't finished her TR yet. So, after she reads it, I'll add some final comments!

So, there's more to come and then I'll have to write another TR for my trip that's coming up in February!!!

Heather just caught up and finished your TR. Loved going with you and your family. At least your going back soon. I'm so excited that my trip is THIS YEAR. I'm so excited, now I have to think where I want to eat. Yes I have until Nov to decide but now it's the same year so I can decide now and then call for my ADR's when the time comes. :lmao:

Oh, Heather. I just finished reading the end of your TR. Amazing!!! SERIOUSLY!!! Anyone can see you all had so much fun together. I love my family, but I can't ever see us doing a fun trip together like that, you lucky dog!

I'm sorry you had such a bumpy flight home. When I saw it was Southwest, I thought, wouldn't it be cool if Lance had been in the cockpit!!! And leaving your bag at the airport! You poor thing. I would have been fit to be tied as well! Bless your heart. Thank heaven for sisters, huh??

Loved the video of Favorite. You nut!!!

Now that final family photo of the four of you in front of the castle is something I'm jealous of! Beautiful!! And I love the one of your entire family, too! Love your dad's Goofy hat and Teresa's Mickey ears!

Love, love, love the pics at the end. It may as well have been a Powerpoint presentation set to music!!

Can't wait for your next TR!!

Well, I could have sworn that I posted about the end of your trip report! I can remember writing the post out, I wonder if I actually clicked on the send button, or I just thought I did.....weird:confused3

Anyways......I loved your finale, or your near finale as you said you may post a few more bits and pieces only you are waiting for a cerain person to get her finger out and play catch up on her trip report!.....Hmmmmm....I wonder who that could be??:rolleyes1

I especially loved the montage of all the special photos you collected over the course of your big family vacation. The Goofy hat will always be my favorite - it takes some guts to wear a hat like that day in and day out, I truely admire your brother:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:scared1: :scared1: Lost goody bag!!! Nooooooo!!
Whew, Teresa saves the day:dance3: :dance3:

You made me weep a little at the end with your little speech about your lovely love family. It just made me miss mine more than ever, them being all the way over the Atlantic in England:sad1:

I truely, truely enjoyed all of the laughs and giggles reading this report, and now you should really start on your Pre-Trippie!!!!!

Mandy

That was an amazing journey Heather!! :drive: Not only did you share your adventure, you shared a part of yourself. It was wonderfully written and truly enjoyable. You seem like an amazing woman, with an amazing sense of humor. I hope that I will get a chance someday to meet you at a dismeet. Thank you for the time that you put into this. Thank you for the opportunity to get to see life through your eyes.:flower3: I have been blessed by this experience and I have seen countless outfits that I might just have to recreate!!:)

After living vicariously though your trip report I feel like I’m a part of your family. Haha. Now I’m off to read your sisters point of view!

First I found it funny that you called your installment "The Finale" and I called mine "The End"!
Love Tessa's fancy moves! She looks so pretty!
I love the "Baby Simba" picture!!! She's a nut!
Jo, Jo, Jo, rootcanal??
Wow, you ate right IN Walmart! You is FANCY!
Mermaid=Kristen=FUNNY!
That mermaid store is where ARminda found her long lost older sister!
I am laughing so hard about the alligator being its saving grace!
I love the picture of Sawyer looking at the airplane!

I forgot about the stupid ticket taker guy! Actually for some reason I was thinking that happened on the way there! Silly, since you weren't on our plane on the way there!

It looks like that girls is wacking Arminda in the back of the head!

Poor Dad preparing for a relaxing flight!

I was scared out of my mind!

Those headphones were the cutest!

The cold was a bit of a shocker, wasn't it!Imagine how poor Steph felt!

Those Canadians were nice!

So, you are saying the Ebay description wasn't real accurate?

What a jerky parking attendant!

I'm suprised Henry didn't use a bit of "sign language"!

Sawyer looks so cute in Dad's hat!

Oh, Henry told YOU you didn't have all your bags??!!? Stupid baggage people not giving you enough claim tickets!

Aww, I really wish I'd called you as soon as we got home!

Well, technically, Brian saved the day, but I'll take the credit!

Jo is funny!Ditzy, yep! Why didn't she call you? Didn't Henry talk to her a few times while you were gone?

Poor Favorite, poor poor Favorite

Ok, kinda freaky that you and I have very similar closing statements!

I love your picture recap! I thought of doing that, but got lazy!

I love you Heather! :grouphug:

I'm sorry to see this end....I enjoyed reading about you and your family.
I'm sorry to see it end, too! Teresa just finished her TR tonight!

(BTW, is parking in Detroit always that cheap? That would have cost $375 in Boston...no joke! :scared1: )
I got a great deal on parking in Detroit! I'm pretty sure parking at the airport is a lot more expensive, but this was off-site parking.

Oh no! So sad your TR is over. Thank you for hours of entertainment! I was thinking about your TR recently, because I was at Disneyland for the day and encountered so many dreadfully rude CMs! :sad2:
Sorry to hear about the rude CMs! So, which one of your split personalities is posting this?

Heather just caught up and finished your TR. Loved going with you and your family. At least your going back soon. I'm so excited that my trip is THIS YEAR. I'm so excited, now I have to think where I want to eat. Yes I have until Nov to decide but now it's the same year so I can decide now and then call for my ADR's when the time comes. :lmao:
That's right, as long as it's the same year, or within the same year, you're allowed to think about what you'll eat, or what your kids will wear!

Oh, Heather. I just finished reading the end of your TR. Amazing!!! SERIOUSLY!!! Anyone can see you all had so much fun together. I love my family, but I can't ever see us doing a fun trip together like that, you lucky dog!

I'm hoping it wasn't Lance in the cockpit. Although it may not have been the pilots fault at all.

I am a VERY lucky girl to have such a wonderful family. :cloud9:

I can't wait to read your trip report and see some more pictures of the amazingly smiley Becca!

Teresa's point of view is amazingly similar to mine! I love that we end up writing almot the exact some sentence sometimes!

First I found it funny that you called your installment "The Finale" and I called mine "The End"!
Love Tessa's fancy moves! She looks so pretty!
I love the "Baby Simba" picture!!! She's a nut!

I love you Heather! :grouphug:

Don't you think that mermaid looks like Kristen, but not as pretty? You know, if Kristen were a giant mermaid?

I don't think Henry did talk to Jo while we were gone. I'm not sure!

Yes, Favorite is dearly missed. Wasn't he a pretty fish? He was so friendly, too.

I know, how weird is it that we said almost the same thing!

I love you too, my dear sister.
