Dorky Disboutiquing DiserSistas:Destination Disney HeatherSue's(best)version OVER1/27

Wonderful pictures!!! That Minnie Dot dress is just DARLING!! Y'all are just so talented. I personally think that custom outfits add a whole new level of fun and obsession to Disney planning and enjoyment!!

I wish Sally wasn't too big for Ponies...I LOVED MyLittle Ponies when I was little. (I called them Pretty Ponies for YEARS!) We got Teddy a Mr. Potato Head box stuffed with parts at the Disney Store in New York City...he was 3...that child has never, not one single solitary time, EVER played with it. not once.:headache: He just liked picking the stuff out and watching his daddy try to stuff it in the box!:lmao:

looks like y'all had fun at the "Pool Party"! That Tessa is too cute planning parties!

can't wait to hear more!!!

I love those cards! Thank you!!! I was really upset when Mom stopped on your toy though! I guess it was a good thing to do though. You are now officially forgiven!!!

You are JUST like me. I would be FURIOUS with my little sister for doing something to my toys...breaking something...or BITING the heads off of all of my Eraser Teddy bears from my cute eraser collection...(how lame was I? ) But if ANYONE tried to do something back to her, I wouldn't have it. I just wanted to be mad at her...I didn't want anyone to make HER cry! Which may be why the child still has ZERO remorse for biting my erasers.

WE are good big sisters! :goodvibes

Megan says Tessa looks beautiful in her minnie dot dress.

Love the pool party! Water babies having fun.

Great update!
Thank you, Megan!!
Thank you Steph!

I LOVE Tessa's Dress...can't let Katie see that!!!:lmao: No, she is getting a new Minnie dress for next trip.

Glad ya'll got your shopping on! And that you got great deals...love deals...love them!:goodvibes

I love it when kids like the pool, but makes me so nervous too! Glad he had a good time...glad you all did!
The water makes me nervsous, too! I would neve have a pool in my back yard. I would be a wreck! I've known too many kids that have drowned (yes, lots of death stories, Steph).

I didn't start playing with ponies until I was Sally's age! Too bad girls think they're too old for things earlier nowadays. :sad2:

Um...I HAD AN ERASER COLLECTION!!!!!!!! I really did!!!!! Welcome to the weirdo club (I was also president of the weirdo club in 2nd grade) !
No one bit the heads off of my teddy bear erasers, though...:cloud9:

I LOVE your capris! I wanna see a close up of Minnie on the leg!

tessa's outfit is great!

Ok we are as bad as you with giving the kids foods they won't like just to watch the faces. We video taped Kyle eating a lemon he shuddered for almost an hour after he hated it so much. With Nik we were sure she would hate it but se was no fun she LOVED it and didn't flinch at all! She still eats lemons whole. We loved when the kids were babies and they tried new food those faces are priceless!

Kyle has that Goofy that Sawyer was holding!

I can't wait to go to Downtown Disney!

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

sorry Heather, i'm sure YOUR collection wasn't lame;) I was SUCH a packrat! I had pencil collections and eraser collections...I was OBSESSED with Panda Bears...I collected everything!

Sally still plays with her Littlest Pet Shop toys...and she collects her Webkinz...and insists that I collect them as well! I am the proud owner of TEN of my own webkinz...all gotten for me as presents for one thing or another...including a pink Dragon that is virtually impossible to get in New Jersey! Not even Sally has one!:snooty: His name is Elliot...naturally!

:lmao:

Well, yeah! Did you not know that they gave free samples??

Well...NO. Of course we would have gone there if we had known that!

No wonder we get along so well. LOL
In high school, my friends and I wondered why all the guys that hung around us were sooooo nerdy. :rolleyes1

As grown ups it occured to us that maybe they were just gravitating to their own kind. :rotfl:

I just LOVE Tessa's Minnie dress. The lime picture is just priceless! Sawyer just looks like he can have fun just about anywhere. We did the pony and potatoe head at Unce upon a toy also-didn't think to take pictures though.Oh well.Logan loved the build your own light saber.

Woo-hoo - an update! I love Tessa's dress too! The only clothes making talent I have is making t-shirts with iron-on transfer from the lovely dissigns people. All of you disboutiquers are so talented! You got some great deals at the outlet. I love finding good quality things at a great price. It makes my day when the Disney Store is having a red tag sale and I have a 15% off coupon! I had lots of collections as a kid too - teddy bears, star wars and charlie's angels cards (dating myself there), the list goes on and on. Looking forward to reading about the rest of your trip!

Yaaa...what a great day in DTD...isn't that place the best? I don't even buy much there but I love to walk around!!! You, Tessa and Sawyer looked adorable in your outfits!!!!
That is funny what you said about the cowlicky hair....for some reason that cracked me up!
I love the much planned for pool party! Glad you didn't order pizza with slimy fried zuccinni however
I am skipping around here quite a bit but the whole "card" thing was endearing....here you are getting Teresa replacement cards. Sooooo sweet!
Thanks for the update....hope you are feeling ok! :goodvibes

Tessa looks so pretty in her Minnie Dot dress! Sawyer looks so cute and little in those McDonald's pictures. My girls really love those "character in a blankie" thingies. Fortunately we only have baby Mickey and baby Minnie. That picture of Tessa with the stuffed Mickey and Minnie is one of my all-time favorite Tessa pictures! I have never seen your minnie outfit--still--I need a closeup! If I lose a majillion pounds by February I'll make myself a Minnie Dot peasant top. Thanks for sharing your bargains. I love a good Disney bargain. Lookit that Sawyer swimming! Lily has had no fear of swimming SINCE BIRTH. Last year we took parent-tot swimming lessons and she kept getting really mad at me when I wouldn't let go of her, so I showed her what would happen if I did let go, after that she still got mad at me for not letting her go. :confused3 Your mom looks so cute with her floatie fish in the pool.

Tessa's Minnie dress is so so so so so adorable!!! And you matched her!! How CUTE!!! And her Belle dress!! To die for!!! Shay Lynne would so love that one since Belle's her fave. Oh, how I wish I could sew....

It seems like you had SO much fun in DTD. We didn't get to go because we just didn't have time! I definitely want to go soon, except I definitely don't want to have Little-spender with me!! I want to shop and look around with no one rushing me.

The pics of Tessa with Mickey and Minnie and the all pics of Sawyer at the table are so adorable. (Love his Cars outfit, by the way!) You take wonderful pics. What kind of camera do you have?

How sweet that you bought your sis some new Mickey-head cards. Makes me wonder what my kids might do in the future to compensate for how horrid they are to each other now sometimes...just interesting to ponder.

Am so enjoying your multimedia presentation!!!

You GO for telling that photographer off!!! YEAH!

I could do a cartwheel that you told that kid off in Disney Playhouse!!! Unbelievable behavior, but even more ludicrous that his parents allowed it.

And the CM on TOT--I can't tell you how many of those grumpy CMs we encountered!!

Your mom is just like mine--she hates the water.

I just love it all! You are sooooo funny!!!

If I lose a majillion pounds by February I'll make myself a Minnie Dot peasant top.

:lmao:

how many is a majillion exactly?

now that was just dang funny...and I needed a laugh. I am grouchy/weepy/sniffly MESS today!

majillion...:rotfl:

Loved the update!! Tessa's dress is soooo cute!! Looks like you guys had a great day!!!
Thank you!

No, it was lame! ;)

You are so funny, collecting Webkinz and pretending like it's Sally's idea. Uh-huh!!!

Well...NO. Of course we would have gone there if we had known that!

No wonder we get along so well. LOL
In high school, my friends and I wondered why all the guys that hung around us were sooooo nerdy. :rolleyes1

As grown ups it occured to us that maybe they were just gravitating to their own kind. :rotfl:
:rotfl: :lmao: Yes, that could be it! If Henry would have went to school with me, he never would have asked me out! He probably would have been one of those jerks that made fun of me.

Thank you!! So glad that you're reading over here, Heather! I'm loving your TR! My dad took those pictures, I wouldn't have thought of it, either! With this many people walking around with cameras, you get pictures of EVERYTHING! LOL!

Wow, a Charlie's Angels card collection! That could be worth money now! :lmao:

You should try your hand at sewing. I thought I couldn't sew at all a year ago!

The Disney store is my weakness!! Every time I get an e-mail with a good sale, I just HAVE to go place an order. Then, it HAS to be at least $50 to get the deal on shipping!

Yaaa...what a great day in DTD...isn't that place the best? I don't even buy much there but I love to walk around!!! You, Tessa and Sawyer looked adorable in your outfits!!!!

I think it's just the word. Cowlicky...cowlicky..cowlicky...yep, that's pretty funny!:rotfl2:

I always felt bad that I ripped up those cards. She really loved them! It's taken me all these years to find something that looked as cool!

Tessa looks so pretty in her Minnie Dot dress! Sawyer looks so cute and little in those McDonald's pictures. My girls really love those "character in a blankie" thingies. If I lose even 1/2 a majillion pounds, I'll make myself a minnie dot shirt! :rotfl:

My mom is a cutie, isn't she? You're going to meet her in February!!

YAY!!! You're reading my trip report!! I LOVE your TR! I think we have very similar senses of humors. You make me snort-laugh! That's a compliment, BTW.

I'm so glad you mentioned the grumpy CMs, too. Sometimes it seems like maybe we are the only one who had them! I think maybe some people pick up on snotty attitudes more than others. I refuse to believe that we are the only ones they were rude to! :snooty:

I have a Sony Cybershot (6.0 mp), but my dad has a Canon SLR fancy schmancy camera. Most of the good pictures are taken with his camera. Some of them were taken on my mom's cheapy $80 camera from WalMart. That one takes really good pictures, though!

Okay, I got photobucket to work. Here's my outfit. Plus, you get a bonus picture of Josie. I took this before we left, Josie has since had a haircut.

I got this picture from the Disign boards, but I added my name to it myself.

Sounds like you had a fun and relaxing day too!! I love DTD too!
They really have fun landscaping there! Lots of photo ops!
mmmmmm chocolate and free chocolate!! :woohoo:
That lime picture- You are so mean :lmao: We do that sometimes too.
Teresa-I never hear of a kid that didn't like water
   for kid-free outlet shopping! I wish we had a Disney shopping outlet up around here!!
Yay for Sawyer warming up to the pool!
What a fun pool party!!!
Looks like you all had a great day!!

I just found your trip report and finished it all in one sitting (slow at work) -- It is great. I love all the clothes you have made. you are very talented. I am going to start reading your sisters report tomorrow (yeah - I anticipate another slow day)...:rotfl2: Your kids are adorable!!

Of course I'm reading your TR!!! Just from the comments you've made on mine you've made me laugh and cry!!! So I've come over to read all about your trip. As soon as I can, I'm going to start on your sis's, too!! We DEFINITELY relate in the things we find humorous!!! I have just cracked up over and over again reading yours. You're not sarcastic at all, are you?? I totally get snort-laughing!!

I'm glad for your affirmation about grumpy CMs!!! I felt like I'd get myself in trouble if I mentioned it on this board because so many go on and on about how wonderful they are (and there are many, many great ones, I know). But we experienced so much lack of enthusiasm that I couldn't pretend otherwise. Thankfully I've learned that we aren't the only ones to feel that way! None of this will keep me from going back, though!

Love LOVE LOVE your TR!!!

Didn't want to quote the whole thing but re: If John and I had gone to high school together -
He was a football player. So I'm pretty sure had he been at MY high school, I wouldn't have had a chance with him.
He says that's not true, because he thinks I'm beautiful (wow!)

But, there is also the fact that he was a sophomore when I was a senior, and you know there is NO way I'd have dated a sophomore! LOL
Well...he is pretty cute. I might have.

Good thing we met them outside of high school! LOL

thats funny about if you would have met your DH in high school. I DID date my DH in high school but I was a senior and he was an imature junior so it did not last long. It was a few years later when we were both in college did we start to talk again and became friends and well it developed from there. I would never believed anybody if they told me 10 yrs ago that I was going to marry him and have his child, then I would have said they were nuts.:rotfl:
