Dorctor who connected vaccines to autism falsified data

I saw that thread and thought it was interesting. I read the original study report when it first came out in the British Medical Journal, The Lancet. It didn't seem like a very good study and medical people did question it right away. Also, no one else was able to replicate his research, which is a pretty good indication that there is something wrong with the study.

P.S
I think you meant this to go on the disABILITIES Community Board, so I am moving it.

It is always easy to find the conclusion you want with any study (or poll) it you do not adequately analyze the cause/effect question and ignore some of the non-core data. With Autism there is also the issue of controlling the study for both the disease model and the neurovariation model. Then there is filtering out the “social assumptions” of the researchers. This is why it is so rare to see a well-designed and scientifically defensible study involving Autism.
