I hadn't thought about doing anything special for the 24 hours day. Now I don't know!! I probably won't wear this though... I imagine there will be thousands of people with the same shirt!

I've always thought the long ship time was so that they could have the shirts made after the orders were placed. I don't recall them running out of the items in previous years, but if you know you want it, there is no harm in ordering early.

I have never noticed pass holder stuff. I have an annual pass, should I be looking in a specific area for these finds.

I think you may need to register your pass with the Disney website. The link to this came in an e-mail. It's cute but I never wear unisex cut tee-shirts, so it's out for me. Hopefully there will be a nice women's cut shirt at the event.

I have, but I never get anything in emails. They have all my info. I got something in the mail for the passholder day, but never emails.

Check your junk mail folder, you never know what may end up in there. Also, register on Disneystore.com to get their announcements as well.

They don't have passholder offers/stuff very often. I've only seen a handful of items over the last several years and they do not have a section devoted to passholder merchandise. So in that way, hopefully most passholders don't miss out on too much.

In terms of the communications...I have no idea how or why some folks get it and others do not. I've registered my pass on Disneyland.com and get some things. Yet other things, like the announcement for the shirt, went to a different email address (a secondary one) and I have no idea how to update it because it's not the one associated with my Disneyland.com account. The only thing I can suggest is to keep an eye on places like the Disboard, and other social media platforms (Disneyland Annual Passholder on Twitter and Facebook) to try and see what's happening.

Is the 24 hour event a ticketed event or is it open to AP holders only?

The 24-hour event is open to anyone, as long as you have a ticket to get into the parks (no special ticket is needed). It's not an AP event. At this point, the pre-purchase of the t-shirts for the 24-hour event is supposed to be limited to AP holders. I don't know if you have prove you have an AP to purchase them or not, but the email with the link was only sent to passholders.
