Dopey at Celebration Marathon (update)

Kathy(DW), a recent Donald finisher and this Dopey finisher are up and ready for today's Inaugural Celebration Marathon/Half Marathon. Just a few minutes walking distance from the Bohemian Hotel and we're at the start. Seven hour limit so no problem being last to show up and last over the start line. The local restaurants are providing the munchies at the finish along with liquid refreshments. Should be very filling so maybe I'll take my time to build up a larger appetite.

No McD's so it'll be a McFlurryless event.

Another marathon in the books. Nice course, plenty of water stops, nice support, one long stretch that rivals Osceola, nice houses, looked like a few local residents had some interesting libations out on tables.

A rating. Will be back next year and be more rested after Dopey.

We ran the Celebration Half this morning, too. What a great first race! Weather was absolutely perfect and I loved the course - great mix of running on the road and then through the neighborhoods with the residents cheering us on, and my favorite was running thorough the nature preserves on the boardwalks. We will definitely be doing this one again, especially considering the low cost (although I'm sure it will go up a bit).
