Doorway to Dreams purchase question...

DH and I will be spending a week at HH this summer and, if we fall in love with HH, we may like to buy in. We're also going to NYC in August and would like to visit the new Doorway to Dreams that is opening in Long Island. Do the DVC sales staff have access to inventory or just to new sales? I wouldn't expect any incentives of course but it would be nice to buy when we visit.

We bought our SSR contract through resale and would have no problem doing it again for HH if we needed to.

You will be able to purchase the sold out resorts through Disney as well as the new ones. There may not be incentives, and you may have a bit of a wait at times depending on exactly what you are seeking. This is what happens to all those ROFR points that Disney buys back...
