It's alot of fun and makes it easy to spot your door in the hallway. We got alot of comments from our neighbors since on our first cruise it was DS's birthday. Everyone knew his name & wished him a HB. He loved it.
We made them for our last cruise and it was a lot of fun. You just do a design that is 8 1/2 x 11 then print it out on special magnetic paper (you can buy this at Wal-Mart, Office Max, Staples, etc.).
Everyone from the boards who was meeting on our last cruise bought the Alien Green paint chip of the Disney Line of paint and stuck that on their doors.
We decorated our door with a bunch of magnet printouts we made, mostly of Disney characters & cruise related stuff. Kids loved decorating it & finding it when coming back to the room
I didn't know you could put things on the doors, but when I saw a few people on our deck had done it, we just taped up two pictures that our 3 1/2 year olds had colored in the kids' club. Turned out to be a great idea because our girls were always racing ahead of us and they could always find the correct door at which to stop!
