Dooney & Bourke on 12/13.

So they are debuting two new patterns of Dooney & Bourke handbags at Disney Vault 28 in DD on 12/13.

Has anybody gone to one of these? How crazy is it? My last day in the park is that day, my flight doesn't leave until 7:30...and I do like one of the patterns.

Can anyone share their experience?

I haven't been to one, but I know that when the HM Dooney Smith bag was released, they were lined up out the door at DTD. Riot gear wasn't needed (LOL) but patience was.

Keep in mind that in addition to the two new patterns being released, one of the head Dooney Designers will be there signing bags as well as selling 84 One OF A Kind bags. These are bags that were prototypes, that never went into full production and they are the only one in existence of each type.

These "Trunk Sales" have occurred in WDW in years past, but this is the first time its happening at DLR. This is going to be a huge event for Dooney People......expect MUCH bigger crowds than the HM Dooney Release.

I considered a 6 hour drive to be there......then decided nope Im gonna do this instead

I know the store opens at 8am, and the signing doesn't start until 11am. I don't really need my bag signed, hmmmm....maybe I will pop in and see them the day before and see what they say.

I have no idea how the releases will go at DL but I expect large crowds. I went to the first to at WDW the first I got in line about 5am and it was pretty quiet for the most part. The second, I started the line at 10pm the night before. Yes crazy and a long night but I got what I wanted
