Oh no, I didn't realize the wallet was available in the DCL collection.
I know the weekender would be a mistake for me, and I'm not really all that tempted by the handbags, but if I run across a wallet with great placement... I know I'm going to have a hard time resisting.

Although the wallets are much smaller than the handbags, there's a fair amount of leather on the interior, and it's my guess that they're also more complicated to make.

I have the DL55 wallet and it was $175 too.

Do we have confirmation that the weekender is available in the DCL pattern, or are we just speculating?

Yes, there is definitely a weekender in the DCL pattern. (It's beautiful!) They had several at the beginning of our Dec. 12 cruise, and there was only one left by the last night.

Hmmm, I don't remember seeing wallets, but they did have wristlets. I could have missed the wallets, though.

They are beautiful! I wasn't going to buy one, but thankfully my DH snuck down to the shop and bought me one anyway. Love that guy!

are the wristlets a good size for a young girl? My dd loves little purses so I was thinking of getting her a wristlet for an early birthday present. I already started put in our budget for the medium tote for myself,,I guess I will just have to budget in another $50 for dd too

Thanks for the update. It's been so long since we cruised DCL, there were no Disney Dooney bags back then.

I just assumed storage space on the ships would be so limited they'd only carry the DCL collection. I didn't realize they stocked the other collections as well.

Not to be an enabler, but... the tonal collection is sale priced on the Disney shopping site right now. Brings that $175 wallet down to around $150.

I think a wristlet would be adorable for a young girl. Definitely an opportunity to discuss being responsible and taking care of nice things too. I'd definitely add a little extra to the budget... just in case.
