Don't you wish there was a DIS board for every vacation destination you want to go to???

I'm headed to Philly and Cape May and it's just so exhausting trying to google and find information about what to do and where to go and where to stay. I need insider tips, the kind of stuff you learn from experienced travelers -- the kind of stuff you learn here!

And, yes *gasp*, I do take trips other than Disney. But researching them makes me appreciate DIS even more! :goodvibes

I agree! I've had the same problem, for example when we traveled to San Diego I wanted to find a decent, well-priced hotel and places to eat but it was hard.

Umm, not sure if it's allowed to post here, but Trip Advisor (dot com) has ALL of that. Especially for hotels (best source) but for other things to do as well. Seriously, just research, there ARE TONS of other sites out there that can help with other destinations.

I was just going to post that! There is. It's called Tripadvisor. We use it for planning the rest of our trips and it's never failed us.

yes, I do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks. Yes, I have stumbled onto trip advisor. It's helpful, but no where near as helpful as Dis boards! Where else can you find a minute by minute intinerary? :)

Yes, tripadvisor is not as good as Dis. I've been trying to plan a Hawaii trip and the best ideas I've gotten actually came off the dis.

^^what she said!

Most of my best travel tips to other destinations come from here.

A little short on Scandanivia information here though. lol
