Dont you just HATE it when they do this on ebay???

There is are a Jack Skellington & a Sally costume that I want on ebay ending in just a few minutes. The Jack costume is ending first and it was pretty low ($20.00) until a few minutes ago when 2 people started to fight over it. Don't people realize that if they get into a bidding war they only drive the price WAY up and if they waited until the last minute to bid (granted when they can) they would get it much cheaper??

Of course I LOVE this when they do it to MY auctions, but when I want to buy something and I watch people fight back and forth the last few minutes and drive the price up to double or triple what they could have had it for it drives me nuts.



NUTS I lost to some who out bid my snipe by one dollar... They got it for $41.00.... RATS!


Now I am waiting on the Sally costume which the one I RAELLY want for my daughter. Its at $36.00 with the wig. If I bought it through the catalog those 2 items would be $80.00.

Won my costume!! Yeah!!! $42.00 with the wig. If I bought it through the Disney catalog it would have cost me over $80 with shipping!!!

I out bid the other guy who outbid me on the Jack costume... har har har

To answer your question..I hate it when that happens. It drives DH crazy too. He says everyone should just snipe and may the best bid win!

I though..hate when I get sniped. I know everyone does it..but uh..you think you are going to win and boom someone out bids you..just like the Jack costume.

My DH bids on E Bay a lot and sometimes stays up until the early hours for the finish time.

He got wise to the bidders who outbid in the last few seconds and does it himself now!

I'm a last 60 seconds buyer myself. Put it on my "watch list" and then check the price just before it ends. If I think it is still a deal, I'll bid in the last few seconds.

I personally got tired of "losing" so I use the sniping software to win. Most of the time I don't have the time to sit and watch things so it helps alot!
